My take is the sane as I said before Mark, it is nothing more than softening people up for tax rises. Above inflation pay rises for public sector ( think unions and paymasters) need financing from somewhere. Quite frankly I care little Mark. They are all the same and if people need to experience the financial incompetence of a Labour government before they realise this then so be it. You didn’t reply to the PFI pic I put up 🤷♂️that’s classic Labour lunacy that is still being paid off. Regarding debt can you imagine how much better off we would have been had we not followed the insane path we did during the covid farce. Something both parties clamoured for, labour far more than most. Anyway you have your party in the Tories are out and at sone point theh are gonna have to take the ball and run with it.

That’s exactly what you are supposed to believe Steve, In the meantime the waste and enormous profits right across the board with PFI hospital deals, excessive levels of super well paid NHS management. massive overspending on military contracts benefitting the likes of Babcock and BAE system, overseas aid, the cash in the motability providers bank, the whole net zero EV wind farms cash free for all. The easy option is always to squeeze the compliant plebs with the pretext it’s necessary for things to get better, In reality nothing ever changes under either party. throw in a few profitable wars now and again and the status quo is maintained nothing more or less.

There’s been a constant drip drip of articles of how bad things actually are and how Labour didn’t realise etc etc to soften people up for tax rises. Total crap Steve the numbers were there for them to see. whenever a politician says they are making difficult decisions you know they are gonna be taking more money from you. Thankfully more footage has surfaced regarding the behaviour of the animals who attacked the police at Manchester airport. The actions of the individuals who prior to this footage being released have been portrayed as innocent victims are now clear for everyone to see. The one who was hitting the WPCs showed not an ounce of respect for the fact they were women ( unfortunately small to common trait with our UK Muslim population) or police. That male officer who managed to keep those animals at bay until one was tased deserves a commendation rather than suspension. I’ve no doubt at all if they had got that last officer down and got hold of his weapon they would have tried to use it. I’ve as much desire to live in Gaza as the leader has. I’ve spent years on and off working in the gulf states and have experienced first hand how Arabs treat other people and cultures to know where I stand. It does make me laugh at the naivety of the people campaigning for Palestinian rights especially the females and the LGTBQIA nutters. Neither group has any rights over there, one’s sole function is to breed the other would be exterminated without mercy.

Look up the articles if you so desire. You are absolutely twisting the words to try and get out of a situation you got yourself into. It was not allocated time off they were paid to attend and take part not to police the rally but to be part of it, this was crystal clear to anyone with an ounce of common sense. Any policeman can do what he wants on his own time off but if you think being paid to attend a pride rally whilst on duty is a good use of finite resources you are a fool. Police Scotland if you didn’t know stopped investigating all crimes a while back due to resource issues, but seemingly the money was found for this crap.

The police in question were not there to police the event 🤷♂️that is explained in the numerous articles that covered the event and the embarrassment caused by police involvement. They were paid or given time off to attend or be part of the parade. If you think that’s a sensible non political use of police resources then you are seriously delusional.
