  1. 3 beech and an Oak Mark Taking advantage of the general sense of calm on here at the moment could one of you experts please confirm what this is.
  2. Yeah but apparently took no notice 🤷‍♂️ Who knows eh.
  3. There was 3 nice clean Beech logs in amongst the pile, they are totally gone. He’d done one Oak and started in the second. Truth is around Aberdeenshire there is an abundance of trees down and windbown to be had at minute, but I guess the temptation was too much.
  4. I’d have probs got myself in a spot of bother Andy to tell truth. Years ago I had an 84 cr500 stolen but managed to recover it in bits. How we dealt with that then would just buy you jail time nowadays and a goodbye to my FAC etc.
  5. ? How comes mick ?? Let’s keep it civil, we ain’t on the covid thread now.
  6. Got back home today after a trip away working, went to start and get some Oak and Beech sorted out ready for milling 😡🤷‍♂️. Some thieving bugger had taken it upon themselves to start ringing it up. It’s in a property with a yard on a local estate, locked chain across entrance. He took his chance when builders were in repairing damage from storm Arwen, basically drove in and started once entrance was unlocked. Can’t knock his audacity but by god I wish I’d rocked up as he was part way through ringing up a bloody nice Oak log.
  7. Cheers Stubby Yeah traces of a few nails I saw for sure , it was the staining I was curious of. Oak ?.
  8. Hi looking at a mix of Oak and Elm taken down post Arwen for milling up ( not quite sure of the logs in the pic mind) . Just wondering anyone can ID the staining seen in the pics,
  9. Try ignoring it or not commenting on it if it bothers you that’s what I do when I see your smug one liners pop up elsewhere. I’m ticking along just fine Mick, so save your life advice or if you really feel the need find something else to get worked up over.
  10. What shit you punching into the keyboard ?? . Who’s a victim 🤷‍♂️ I presume this rant of your own makes sense to you. You like the sound of your own voice yourself Mick big time. The solution for you is if you don’t like what I post ignore it, as I often do when seeing your posts or comments, simple as that. As for same old shit well a lot of what many people having been saying about the covid farce for a long time has sadly as the months go by been proven to be not that far off the mark.
  11. Boris Johnson says UK will 'contribute' to NATO deployment if Russia invades Ukraine APPLE.NEWS Boris Johnson has said the UK will "contribute" to any new NATO deployments if Russia invades Ukraine. Only one thing to say and that is ****************ing politicians are the worst virus this planet has. Throw in a bit of the same irresponsible MSM hype and hysteria that we have witnessed with covid and numerous manufactured crisis and you have a potential for utter stupidity to take over.
  12. George Orwell's 1984 slapped with 'offensive' warning as woke madness hits new heights WWW.MSN.COM GEORGE Orwell's 1984 has been slapped with an "offensive" warning as woke madness hits new heights within Britain's... 🤷‍♂️😞
  13. An absolute nut case of a government.
  14. They and most of the big open class 2 strokes from that era have turned out to be cracking investments.
  15. Not BSA but you undoubtedly know where it’s roots lie. Myself and two other lads competed in the 80s & 90s on a mixture of 2 stroke machines, one of whom much to our ridicule at the time decided to take a punt on a 78 580 which he still has to this day, price now is probs 10 times what he paid. I tried it for one race after he wiped himself out one time but could not get to grips with the 1 up 2 down right hand change box. I still have a cracking book called “Rolling Thunder a history of CCM( Alan Clews era) that I got for Xmas many years ago. ( stock pic)
  16. I’d say he’s goosed Mark but whom is a viable replacement. We want our politicians to be whiter than white, wise and honest with no skeletons in the cupboard etc etc but also savvy and in touch with reality. The job requirements are virtually impossible to fill bud hence we are constantly disappointed. You must be utterly gutted when you look at the labour leader and his deranged bitter angry deputy. As has been said all Starmer did was drip predictably in a manner that does not impress anyone. I think this country is utterly sick of politicians bitching about each yet in reality achieving bugger all.
  17. I hope you have a Jonny handy if your out in public if and when he gets the bullet Mark. I’ve a bad feeling you might have an uncontrolled moment.
  18. Pétition · Tony Blair to have his "Knight Companion of the Most Noble Order of the Garter" rescinded · Change.org CHNG.IT Tony Blair is to be knighted with the highest possible ranking in the new year honours list, Buckingham Palace has said. Sir Tony... The disgust for this man and what he did is obviously still very strong.
  19. Pretty much sums up the whole disgusting charade for me. A man whom helped destabilise a whole region with MSM backed lies that led to a war which resulted in the deaths of thousands yet has the audacity to call people idiots for being cautious with rapidly developed vaccines is honoured. Probably done more damage to Labour than any politician alive or dead.
  20. On a different note it’s looking like Boris or maybe his fear of the backbench common sense brigade might have knocked back the chance of any more futile restrictions for England. You will grow to appreciate the value of mogg and co 😆, my old platoon commander “Drax “ is another of the rebels who has your best interest at heart Mark 😂😂
  21. Well knowing the Finnish mentality I’d say it was well thought out and implemented bud. 2017 if memory serves me right, caused huge resentment to the taxpayers funding it. To be honest the general vibe I got off people I know over there was it encouraged pure idleness and utterly stifled any form of ambition. Mind you is that not Socialism 🤔
  22. Tried in Finland Mark in a large scale trial. According to friends and family over there it was a disaster 🤷‍♂️
  23. Yeah definitely but it’s strange in as much as when you fire it you still get a good bang but I’ve had the laddie shoot it with me not that far away and it’s not loud at all. But compare it to a good sub ie eley and yeah it’s a fair bit louder.
  24. Jumping in here Stubby, apologies in advance. Not bad in reality, although the shooter tends not to notice the effect as much as someone say maybe 100m away. Good for keeping noise disturbance down big time. But as anyone who’s used moderators will know even with 22 subs it’s not like the movies.
  25. Decent job for this time of year, 4 days in the dry on a nice level floor and a forklift to do most of the heavy lifting. Variety of hardwoods that the owner wanted milling rather than processing for firewood. Spent a bit of time fitting some decent LED lights recently which for not a lot of outlay have proven to be very handy. Last two pics are day 2 on the same job, cutting 1.1m wide slabs pretty much maxing out the mill.
