  1. Well I guess t gf Sts as good as endorsement as can be squeezed out of you ref TR mind you the grooming gang scandal is and has been proven to be statistically carried out by a certain group end of story ?‍♂️
  2. That boat name is for real not a nick name. Human nature I’m afraid how many of us are genuinely trustworthy to the level we expect politicians to be. Robinson’s claims and facts are none the less valid
  3. Hey Pal ?‍♂️ steady with the terms of endearment I watched it too and I thought it was very informative although one side of a complex issue but it undoubtedly showed on a number of occasions the pandering of the system to those whom have no respect for law and order in this country or our traditional values. If you can not see that regardless of how you feel about him personally then you are indeed letting your feelings blinker any ability to see reason or an alternative version of events to that what you perceive as true. I voted Tory but I’m well aware of Boris Johnsons shortcomings etc and can admit that. I didn’t see that fool Corbyn as some messiah like figure as others did. I can see Robinson’s faults but also the validity of the issues he has tried to raise. By the way tell me one thing he has said that is not true ???? No ranting just a sensible explanation of how he is wrong on the issues he spoke of in that speech. On a slightly humorous note I do remember the boat in cambios called shy torque which was quite amusing listening to him call the port authority to get in and out,
  4. Don’t think you will have any strength issues Andy, looks the part bud ?.
  5. None so blind as those who won’t see. Regardless of his personal credibility in your eyes, the content of the video is worth seeing even if only to give you yourself the credibility to comment on it.
  6. Ash and a kitchen wipe keeps ours clean. The odd log you say is causing more staining ?? That could be the settings you have the stove at or the moisture content also don’t let it get too far down before adding more logs, in all honestly there are a few variables but it’s a fire at the end of the day so I’m sure things will become more familiar. Cleaning the glass is a pink job, cutting logs etc and making sure fire is right is defo a blue job.
  7. The way forward ? Jokes aside how do you rate that ??
  8. Bet that’s a sickener to sharpen if you hit some metal etc.
  9. Not a clue what they will end up being used for just can’t bring myself to chop it up for firewood ?‍♂️
  10. Got a load of firewood and a fair bit of it is showing signs as per the pics. Milled a small log today and got some decent boards, no soft patches so hopefully the rest will turn out the same.
  11. Best up the security on existing storage as the theft of diesel will become an even more profitable enterprise now.
  12. 120x60x5mm ? probs a bit ott but no worries about it’s robustness.
  13. I’ll measure up for you Steve but if you hunt around the posts I think there is a lot on here already about it. Possibly on the woodlands section of the milling forum. No she doesn’t flex much but it’s a tad weighty if you are moving it by hand. Tows well though.
  14. That will be nice once mounted on a decent trailer for sure. Looking online there are a few decent upgrades on that model ie the auto on water blade lubricant facility and the raising/lowering handle locking method. Any chance you could put up a few images of these, It would be interesting to see if there’s a possibility of retrofitting any of them. cheers
  15. The signs do start to appear when the band is getting blunt ie much more effort to push through, poor or wavy cut and a totally different tone, saying that I’ve had one let go for no reason and with no warning. Torque setting was good band was tracking fine when checked after fitting it ?‍♂️. 4” bands are in a different ball park compared to the ones used on a WM130, I can only imagine the noise when one of those fails.
  16. Look closely it’s a chrome ring installed at top of insulated section of flue to cover hole in ceiling cut for it. House is a single storey bungalow.
  17. Unbelievable bullshit big brother nanny state bollocks. Ok buy 2.1 cube then. Disgusted that this is the sort of shite that tax payers money gets wasted on. In the meantime the power stations at drax and Lynemouth etc etc keep making there owners millions burning wood in Lynemouths case shipped from Canada ?????An unfortunate surname when in reality the cretins are those running this whole ridiculous set up ????
  18. Yep morso ones only so I tend to be careful when putting logs in.
  19. Toasty hot bud way too much for me. vermiculite boards in side of stove are curved to fit profile.
  20. Agree Andy that stove of mine is 5kw but I end up with every door in the place open. Exposed insulated flue is like a giant radiator too, Mrs loves it but way too hot for me. I cut my own wood as you know so getting the log length correct is no hassle. Yeah it’s been shit it always made good heat but smoked badly whenever the door opened at all, but it’s like a different stove now so happy days.
  21. We went down the route of getting the two stoves we have had in our current house fitted by recommend HETAS fitters, both stoves were morso models the first a cassette type and the second a free standing model as per pic. First guy fitting the cassette type was clueless and fitted it totally wrong the result being that it would not draw. Eventually sorted it but he baled out of finishing the hearth etc as he said there was no money left in the job ??. Second free standing morso was fitted by the suppliers and we have been plagued with down draft for about 16 months, supplier came out and fitted a new cowl for £170 which had no affect in reality. Just had the chimney swept for first time and the guy who also is a registered installer said straight away that one of the vermiculite boards in the upper part of stove was fitted incorrectly and upside down ?‍♂️. He showed me how it should be located and the difference in the how the fire operates is night and day. As he said at the time just because the supplier is HETAS registered does not mean that everyone of the fitters they send out are highly proficient. This sweep has gone on to fit the lads stove and he did a cracking job.
  22. that will be a decent set up once done. I find the limits regarding what you can do are dictated by the ability to move the log/cant onto the bed and the rotating positioning of it once on. Ideally some form of loader/telehandler on site would be a huge help. Wide throat will definitely be an advantage at times. I’d say build the trailer to be way over strength as the size of logs that it will take will not be light. The log in the pics was 28 -30 inch diameter and working on my own that’s about he max I can do anything with, as previously said I’d be getting things done in a fraction of the time if I had a decent loader as the cutting is quite quick but the moving and handling is pretty slow when done manually.
  23. Is it gonna be mobile or permanently located somewhere ?? Good choice of mill for the money I’d say, that the latest wider throat model you’ve just got ??
  24. Same as with Woodlands, if you are vat registered just supply the Number and it’s none of the merry go round we have here. I was looking at Norwood here in uk but it was the zero hassle vat option and not having to pay out extra for 3 months that made me go down the WM130 route.
  25. Might have been a far better more beneficial use of taxpayers money to reopen some of the many branch lines closed years ago by the beeching cuts, I know up here in Aberdeenshire the amount of traffic in and out of Aberdeen city every morning and evening would be dramatically reduced by some form of half decent rail network. Give people the option to not drive rather punish them for having to drive. HS2 will most likely join the long list of massive overspend poorly run publicly financed projects( or worse still privately financed but with a huge payback/profit to be had)There is a huge disjoint with upper management and people at ground level on sites in the UK, management that has consistently been proven to be poor in comparison to many of their overseas counterparts in similar roles.
