  1. Well that’s what the other two are going for I’ve a slot on my ticket for an FAC rated air rifle and the R10 is the preferred choice 👍
  2. What did you get ?? getting rid of a couple of PCP,s shortly BSA R10 SE and BSA Ultra both in 22. R10 is factory condition less than a tin of pellets.
  3. Yep you are the Tool meister Les
  4. DIY Saw actually belongs to a mate, I run an 880. I knew Les couldn’t control his urges and would bite. The guy whom owns it is very handy with metal and has his own CNC plasma set up and TIG etc etc he is fitting it up to a mill and as is his nature he will improve what he thinks needs it.
  5. Lol calm down Les That innuendo fest you’ve been having with the female arborist on here has obviously got you thinking of the bobie
  6. Not false hope more like much of the same as he would have made his decision brexit or no brexit, but if anyone thinks billionaires like him genuinely give a shit about anything other than money they are kidding themselves. The corporate Labour pool that is the EU does bugger all for the working man.
  7. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️Months old, brought in to help with the doomsday scenario predicted by many at the beginning of the hysteria. I take it you are implying once it’s all done and dusted drivers will be working 18 hrs a day in a Tory slave state blah blah blah. Truth is bud the UK has always followed any EU guidance or regs more diligently than most other member states.
  8. Neither am I 😳 it’s a very flattering tool.
  9. Looking forward to it bud. Better to practice and make my mistakes with DF in the meantime.
  10. Festool Domino 700, and 14mm x 140 mm domino’s are what I used along the joints between the planks. Basically a beefed up biscuit jointer.
  11. Helped a blacksmith mate out and milled up some DF planks for a 3m x1.2m x 75mm table domino jointed and it will coach bolted to the subframe so hopefully it will remain stable. He did the fabrication of legs himself, wanted to use a locally sourced sustainable timber.
  12. Really ?? having seen first hand whilst working on a vessel in the Med that was obliged to take onboard refugees I have to disagree regarding the comments on kids being strapped to people. The ones I saw were predominantly by a large margin young males. This is also what you will see on most of the boats crossing the channel. A lot are not from war zones by any standard.
  13. Few cheap items on gumtree. I use the Makita planer thicknesser and it has served me very well
  14. Might be able to help with a used masdam personnel recovery set up but if you give an idea of it’s proposed use that might help as the ones we use are only rated for 250kg
  15. Do you think the whole EU system and it’s ruling organisations etc etc are of benefit at all to the average working man or women ??? This is not a Tory/Labour right or left thing just a genuine question, I’ve no doubt my view on it will differ you yours 🤷‍♂️
  16. Metalwork is his thing in reality, barbecue going in I think hence the opening for the chimney.
  17. Got a mate up in Inverness who’s building this and he also commented on the headf****** that the angles caused him.
  18. Location isn’t an issue in regards buying kit bud I know lads from one end of country to the other, or couriers. Most on the milling forum know my location or it’s on my profile.
  19. Yeah Aberdeenshire??. You got anything that might suit ?? Working down near Largs at moment so on the road a fair bit ??
  20. Hi All Just wondering if anyone has a spare 50inch or above bar to suit an 880 . Got a couple of Elm to mill that will probs max out the set up I have and don’t want to be trimming them down to fit. I’d be interested in a complete larger Alaskan mill/Bar chain etc if anyone was not wanting to split up an existing set up.
  21. Well funny you should find that as I’m getting exactly the same. Elm or oak etc etc they are fine but the decent size Douglas I have just dulls them in no time at all. Is it a particular type of blade you find works best on the DF ?
  22. Did you not rate the ripper blades compared to what you were already using ??.
