  4. Ive had marlow gecko rope 13mm,it seved its purpose,i didnt buy it i was issued it at work. Pretty bulky,heavy rope. We all learn through experience mate dont sweat it.Jyst get youself a decent rope next

You could get it loler'd and punt it on arbtrader or a similar site,as joe said though,its not a great rope so wouldnt make you a great deal of money.Why not keep it as a second back up rope or as part of your rescue kit(if you have one)even use it for 2 in 1 lanyard for connie bashin,make lanyards out of it,pull rope,light riggin rope etc

  19. For me its very telling if you concider your work as a "job" or a "career". If its the later than its probably just a dip,we all get them from time to time and im sure it'll pass.If tree work is just a job for you then get out now and do something that makes you smile and keeps your passion lit. I spent 12 years as a chef,hated it but i thought i was too old(28)to train at anything else.I stumbled into gardening-loved it and from there into grouds maintenance and laterly tree work.I love my job,i do get pissed off sometimes but the good days outweigh the bad. We can only really advise you what to do,but the final descision is yours too make. Have you thought about grounds maintenance ? That way you can do all kinds of work,tree work being just one of many. Good luck
