  3. interesting getting the right lubricant is important too for me, i've found the best is TFR, and mixed right too personally, i've found pine sol and screen wash crap, but different things work for different people 👍

  6. thanks all, have give those a go too to insure my Jag which is a 4.2 supercharged V8 is about £540 a year to insure a tipper defender is £1120 🤣 maybe i'll mount the tipper body on the jag
  7. Afternoon all, who are people using for tipper insurance please, trying to get a few prices, it's the first tipper i've had (Defender 110 tipper) best quote so far is from Arborisk and a very close second is NFU could be useful to some others too thank you

  13. hi, random one but wondering if anyone has any recommendations for any creams etc to help with the scar healing would love something that somehow can make them less sensitive but guess that's impossible!? got it caught in a log splitter nearly a year ago, but the scares which are all around the end are just so sensitive, can be the smallest knock or gain of sand or something just in the wrong spot any ideas welcome please

  17. well, i meant to post before on this, as i stupidly made the same mistake years ago! that was on a 130r, i ran about 5 tanks of straight petrol through it, then it stalled... then the penny dropped 😅🤦‍♂️ 🤦‍♂️ 🤦‍♂️ 🤦‍♂️ 🤦‍♂️ so, i drained all the fuel out, then kept priming it to get all the fuel out, then put 2 stroke in it, primed for a good minute or 2, and then started it. let it idle for about 2 or 3 mins. and it's been absolutely perfect, its still the only long reach kombi i have and still runs perfectly to this day, and that was 9 years ago it happened

  19. How old is it? My br800 wouldn't restart once warm, did some research and people said its the side start recoil So got a standard br800 recoil, not side start and that's sorted the issue!! When u said wouldn't restart that's why my thinking was I have the stihl part number if u need
  20. exactly, the just plugs straight into the processor there is a FB group for all handmade processor's and log decks, that would be worth a read 👍

  24. yeh, sure did. imported 2 of them, one for a mate, did the same with the mill too been ok so far, never used a PTO one before so can't comment, video is of oak going through, what do you reckon? cost wise, just under £5k including the log deck and some spares WhatsApp Video 2024-01-02 at 10.04.49 AM.mp4
