  1. okay, thanks thought it was worth asking just incase
  2. So as the title explains, just want to how much I'd get if i logged it up and delivered it to the buyer. (Cut level to the green bin) Could be a chance the customer doesn't want it and just want to see if it's worth trying to sell. Don't really deal much in the firewood side so thought who better to ask.
  3. okay, i shall check tomorrow. Thanks!
  4. i will look into it, hopefully get to the bottom of it and let you know. Thanks for the help its appreciated!
  5. how should i go about it then ? Would like to try and fix it myself as it saves it going to get fixed and increases my knowledge. Ever days a school day and that..
  6. Yeah it is very worn where it has snapped, how shall I go about fixing it? I've put some grease on the clutch drum but can't see that working long term?
  7. my advice would be try and just get some days dragging brass for some company to get a feel of what the industry is like. Sure the massive 100 foot takedowns are fun but people forget about the shitty clearance jobs. Like today i spent my time reducing bunch of hawthorns in the pissing wet and i really questioned why the **** am i doing it. Just get a feel for the industry first, rather then fork out a wedge on these courses and not enjoying as much as you thought! All the best!
  8. Yeah, snapped in the exact same place.. Will have another look in the morning
  9. So I fitted a new brake band to the saw last week as it had snapped. Put it all back together fine, started it up today and was all working fine. 2 hours later from when it first started the brkw band had snapped again. Just wondering whats the reason for this happening as it was working fine before it snapped again. Thanks
  10. 550xp is a beaut of a saw in my eyes, no brainer
  11. My boss owns the great big tree climbing company aswell as a doing tree surgery aswell. I'm more from the tre surgery side of things but do help on odd days with the tree climbing when needed and as far as I know there's no ticket need. The Great Big Tree Climbing puts it staff through it's own in house training that's needs to be signed off but I'm not away of any other qualifications that are needed.
  12. SIP seem to always rip at the crotch, I won't be buying the, again
