  1. Also this was an emergency job we had. Big cedar dropped a major limbing landing couple feet away from a static home whilst the owners were inside. Tree had a TPO so the Council arranged a tree assessment and the report. Reduction wasn’t viable due to half the crown missing. So due to location and all other aspects taken into account it was agreed to be taken out. Sadly only got these couple pictures. Was left at 15ft to be carved.
  2. Finally finished this bad boy, wasn’t constantly on the job as had other jobs booked and a couple emergencies. Worked out well though because it had started to get boring and customers were very easy going and relaxed. The trees are Lawsons and all had big limbs that had re-rooted and sprung back up forming a front row, meaning we just had to bring down the back row below the front to leave a natural look (from the garden anyway haha). All zipped out over over the front row and garden to the driveway.
  3. Had to take the handle apart due to the stop switch got smashed and had to replace it. Took of the the chainbrake handle and fitted the switch no dramas fired her up and was working fine. When I came to re-install the chainbrake handle i really struggled getting it back in and around the catch that’s on a spring, and with a lot of brute force I got it back together. Turns out though I put the washer for the nut on the brake facing outwards when In should be facing inwards so it’s rubbing. I’m going to have to take it apart again to correct the washer, but I’m just wondering if there’s a technique to re install the handle without the brute force and swearing ? Cheers
  4. Cheers I’ll let you know how it goes
  5. Waiting on the guy that services our machines, I can’t promise my boss I can take it apart and together again haha. Is removing the top feed roller a bit of an arse ?
  6. Started reducing these beauty’s by 30ft [emoji1303]
  7. Okay thanks for the reply, think that’s the next step to be taken!
  8. UPDATE: Removed the crap around the areas spoken above but still had the same size gap. Had another look at the top plate covering the top feed roller and there was a build up in the corners (where circled in the picture). I took of the rubber shock absorber but was a bitch to get to it and gave up after 45 minutes of swearing. It’s going to service next week so will hopefully get it fixed then, I’m just wondering if anyone else has come across this problem, and if it would causing the gap ?
  9. That second picture is quiet something [emoji23]
  10. Okay mate sweet the blades will be getting changed next week so I’ll have a fiddle then
  11. Yeah I’ve tried with a big lump but not having it, will give your other option a go, cheers!
  12. What would be causing this gap in the rollers ? I’ve had a play with the springs but doesn’t seem to change anything. Also, what’s the easiest way to sharpen the feed roller knives, again never done it before and wanting to know if it’s not worth the hassle for someone that doesn’t have a clue haha Cheers
  13. Taken a couple years ago still one of my favourites
  14. That’s what I’m worried about, gonna wait until the part comes before I attempt it
  15. What with the replacement cambiumsaver ? Tia
  16. Hi Need to replace the cambium saver part of my rope guide (2010). I'm just wondering how easy/ difficult to do and if there's any tips/dos of don'ts? Looked at the Manual that came with it but it doesn't have an instructions in replacing parts. Thanks in advance

  18. BBQ Tuna!!! Buy a tin of tuna in sunflower oil, drain a small amount of oil out of the tin but leaving a fair amount. 4 pieces of loo role to lay on top of the tuna and push it down into all the corners so it soaks up the oil, then let the tissue paper all around and leave to cook for 10 minutes then drain and enjoy! Honestly taste amazing, put it in my bread role and have it with melted cheese (I carry a blow torch to melt the cheese/ easier to light tuna) and it tastes the bomb! And it's warm!
  19. Had a A530 spring snap on before so it does happen
  20. Ah I'm glad I posted this because the place I was heading was eBay. As the cyclinder is in good condition I think I'll just take it into someone else with the proper kit and know how. Thanks a lot!
  21. So my 365 spark plug has threaded in the cyclinder, got it sent off to be heli-coiled, but the blokes done a poor job and it's came straight back out. So I fancy myself having a crack but I'm unsure on what's best to a rethread kit or heli-coil ?? Also wondering what size I would be after. cheers chaps
  22. Thanks I'll take a look at these points, just bizarre that it's happening to both saws and them being fairly new
