  19. If you set a w If you set a winch on top of the splitter, then the wire round the top of the big billet you can pull it onto the splitting deck upright. See it a lot here, saves an awful lot of ballache.
  20. It’s an edge of the woodland tree by nature, it’s soon outgrown by ‘real’ trees in woodland. The leaf will appear wherever there’s light, laying is the best option, but coppice (not topping) hazel will provide a summer screen.
