  1. Hi, been searching for ages but can't find the info I'm looking for, we haven't been doing logs for long and we are now having to buy in cord to keep up, I have naught a few loads recebtley by the ton, but I have been offered some wood per m3, I will be getting the logs collected and in the process of getting quotes but I am unsure as to how much they will be able to fit on an 8 wheeler load as they always quote by the ton. So my question is what would be the average m3 of hardwood cord per 8 wheeler Thanks in advance Tomm

  7. Only going on what I have red about auto tune, never owned one so can only go on reviews on here and other places,
  8. Because generally I use the saw flat out for a few weeks then it's left for a month or so whilst doing other jobs then back again, and I'm under the impression that auto tune saws don't like being left for long without being used, and I hear nothing but horror stories on here about the 550xp etc, if I was to get an auto tune saw I think it would be the 241???
  9. I know another chainsaw threat but iv been searching through for days as still not sure so thaught I would start a new one, Currently have a 620sx on the factory 20 in bar and a 460 on a 25. After a bad back and aching shoulders a few weeks back i have decided to buy a small saw to run a 13/15 in bar. Must not be auto tune and must be a genuine pro saw not a farm/ranch saw. Only used for hedge work and ringing up smaller cord etc What do you folks use, have been looking at the 390 ax but can't find many English reviews on here. Thanks in advance for your help

  20. Still confused, I don't know the weight of the load only that it's 18m3, would 1.5 of loose split to 1m3 of cord be a better rate?
  21. I don't know what weight the load will weigh as I have been given it as a m3, so roughly it will double when split and thrown in the shed? Thanks
  22. first of all sorry if this has been asked before, I have searched for ages but cant seem to find what I am looking for me and two others are going to buy an 8 wheeler of ash and beach, im told this is 18m3, im trying to work out if this is a viable option or if its best just to keep buying it split already. from 18m3 of cord what would I expect to get when loose stacked in the shed. thanks all Tom
