    Makita Saw

I bought a Makita DCS5121 a while back as an upgrade on a Stihl ms211, great saw. I love mine. Al
  2. Couldn't agree more, Acorn 5210A is a great bit of kit. Well worth the investment. Al
  3. My Makita wouldn't start today or yesterday, flooded continually. Bought a new spark plug and seems no change. Is it the weather?
  4. Hi, I'm having the exact same problem with my 5121. I've just put new plug in and no joy so far. Will try again in the morning after its settled again, I suspect the weather may be a cause as it's real hot and muggy here. Did it work long term for you ? Al
  5. While not tree related, nothing beats this.....

    Cs30 / 31

Yeah, I did it with a stihl ms211. Served me excellently. So your husky will be ideal. Al
  7. Yup, looks just like giant hog weed to me too. I had no idea fig did the same. Al
  8. Bit of a random question really, what do folks use to carry their chainsaw tools in, ie combi spanners, spare chain, filing clamp, files, brush etc ? I was using a zip up trainer bag but the zips giving out. It has to fit in a backpack. Just interested and looking for ideas. Thanks Al
  9. I'm away next week on my cs30/31 course but will take you up on the offer very soon after that. Thanks Al
  10. Looks really good. As mentioned, space your area code on your landline number lower down the page. Good stuff Al
  11. I asked the very same question just the other day http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/general-chat/75563-uk-vs-imports.html Al
  12. Good luck to you, big move. Al
