  1. I'm looking forward to that...
  2. Brilliant :-)
  3. Yeah, I think that's what he's worried about. When are we going to see some pictures from you, Jon. Your posts would be even better...:-)
  4. Yup, I understand, Jon. My boss doesn't like us posting any pics too, sadly.
  5. Handii foamica...
  6. :-) :-) :-)
  7. 47 m of yale xtc fire, at £20 with an hour to go...
  8. SHB hire? Romsey based...
  9. Nice one Sean. Keep the pics coming. All the best, think about you most days.
  10. Thank you. Just wasted a mouthful of perfectly good coffee, all over my phone now....
  11. My 53 reg 110 is nearly at 216k. I put 1k miles on per month just getting to and from the yard, but she seems to be aging gracefully....
  12. Good idea felling the stick onto a strop. Nice mog too.
  13. Good to meet you Katie, will be passing on your details to management at work in view of some first aid training.
  14. That's ok Jon, I understand, you had a lot of people to get through. My Manager had me leave a bit earlier than I would have liked....
  15. Yup, that was us! We've both wanted to meet you for a long time. Hope you had a good day. :-)
  16. His books are brilliant. Let us know what you end up with. :-)
  17. The other half brought this "because it looked really nice" Hopefully she won't be able to use it when she rock climbs as it's not a screwgate, and then I can probably find a use for it....
  18. Nice to meet Mendip Jon, 5 shires and Ti and a couple of his guys. Managed to slip a silky tsurugi, rope bag, 5m lanyard, some Tenex for playing splicing with, new saw pod and three t shirts past the missus...
  19. Your grasp of the concept of self medication is awesome, especially the Jagermeister...
  20. If you follow the YouTube link Steve Bullman posted in this thread, and have a read of the comments on his video, you will see some hilarious statements, some people arguing that the ms200 is electric, etc. Makes interesting reading...
  21. Ah, bless you. You seem to be a bit confused. No, I don't use one one the ground, and will stop someone doing so if there is a ground saw available. I was commenting on the rather far fetched view by someone on YouTube that a tree officer would fine someone for doing that. That's all.
  22. Sorry, I seem to have missed something. Who on here said they use a top handle on the ground?
  23. Hilarious comments by the armchair arborist masses of YouTube!! Apparently tree officers in the UK can fine you for using a top handle on the ground....

If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.
