  1. Agreed, real flu ( which I haven't had in 40 years) wouldl leave you incapable of anything except suffering.
  2. 50 quid. Old, slow, etc.
  3. You shouldn't worry too much about resale, it's about what it'll make you when you have it. If you're fretting about resale buy an Alfa spyder.
  4. Ha ha.
  5. Oh stop worrying about it! Look on the bright side if he does kill himself you can squeeze another 50 quid on your day rate while its fresh on everyone's mind.
  6. I'd give him a job.
  7. So what? they're down no one hurt, felled with a 13 inch bar. good job I say.
  8. Good pics, lot of work done!
  9. Yes, burn what you got, if it's free.
  10. At what point can we say they're both bloody brilliant?
  11. Agreed. Drainage, that's the key.
  12. All very strange. You sacked him because of stick you got here? That's a first.
  13. No it's not a coincidence, it's partly because they went to the best universities, got the best education. I'm fairly sure they can spell the prime minister's name as well.
  14. So these have been in circulation for a few weeks now. Any more mini reviews?
  15. Yes, dead right, practical solutions, ie green waste sites for commercial users that don't cost the earth.
  16. Well that took an odd turn.
  17. Is there any reason why it's not just a Norway spruce? I might be missing something and it something exotic, but it looks like a scabby old Norway /Christmas tree to me.
  18. I'd guess at horse chestnut.
  19. Learn something every day! I would add that when a spring broke I didn't notice any reduction in "pulling in power"
  20. Ha ha, very good (and not far off the truth)
  21. On the 150 at any rate you take off the springs to lift the top roller for access to the blades. It's a 2 minute job to replace them, I've had two break in 11 years. It's my opinion they either break or they're fine. Won't cost a lot to try though. Like the man said a new anvil or turn over the existing one is always a good move.
  22. We're a service industry, if you don't believe me google it.
  23. Of course it's not good for the tree, it's good for the client, who wants more light, satellite signal whatever. News alert!!!! You are not a nurse, doctor or Ebola worker, or a crew mate on the rainbow warrior, you cut and fell trees for a living. Also yes, I am driven by financial gain, I'm in a service industry. So are you.
  24. Ten grand would buy a very decent grinder, from a business point of view that could make a lot more sense.
  25. I suppose as your Land Rover carrys about a wheelbarrow full of chip it makes little difference.
