  1. Oh yeah, what an epic post to hit a thousand with!
  2. Smoked less dope.
  3. Ha ha, brilliant sense of humor, love it!
  4. I run two, the new one has plenty of poke, the old one just keeps on going, had it 14 years now, paid the finance on it in 18months, (exBT) I just pay the insurance every year, it's like a free van!
  5. Point taken, never done it myself. Cheap solution though.
  6. If it's just about recovery, just get a tirfor to get it out of the hole.
  7. Click on your name and look for change your AVATAR or something like that, should be easy enough after that.
  8. Reality isn't what was needed, but I accept you did enter into the spirit on the first post. Telling us you can't wish to change anything from the past was a bit Kim Jong Il though:001_smile:
  9. If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it's a duck
  10. I know, but few of us can hope to be like you:bowdown:
  11. Are you completely bereft of any imagination? It's a simple enough light hearted thread. Give us a theoretical thing you might have changed. But no, Huck says you're not allowed to wish or imagine anything might have been different.
  12. Any 3.5 tonne tipper is the same.
  13. Lot of guys experienced at door knocking and selling tree work at your local caravan site. Worth a go.
  14. Cos they're good, reliable, tried and trusted. What's not to like?
  15. Many a true word said in jest.
  16. Well I hope you find this guy and you two can work it out. Two ford range tippers would make most of us swoon!
  17. Thought of another one, stuff getting hung up cos it's not heavy enough to force its way down.
  18. I am, as a general rule, a bit sniffy about these light reductions, on beech however they are the right thing to do, and that's a very nice job, we all know that "tickles" are amongst the most difficult tasks in tree work. Getting all the way out, trying to visualise the overall shape whilst in an awkward position.......
  19. Ok Rachel, if you work as hard on the job as you do at taking offence you'll be ok.
  20. Rachel, I think you're laying the trailblazing victim thing on a bit thick, who is asking you to justify why you want a mans job? I haven't seen one post on here that states anyone thinks a woman incapable of being a good arborist, or if there is one it has been drowned out by people arguing the reverse.
  21. ........
  22. None whatsoever, just half off road tyres, Ranger owners just get on with it, unlike LR owners who have to come on here and tell us everyday how their LR hasn't broken down. So they put a picture up to celebrate!
  23. I serviced my Ranger today, got the filters from the Mazda dealer as they're cheaper.
  24. God I don't miss disengaging the front hubs by hand one little bit! Never had a problem anywhere along the drive train of my 2005 ranger.
  25. Advice, be pragmatic, decide early what it is you actually want to do in the industry and work towards it, you're too old to finish college with no idea what to do. Especially as it's a two year course.
