  7. Heres a couple i did today. Oaks.
  8. depends how busy i am with tree work, usually deliver at the end of a working day. at the moment i have 15 orders pending, i told the customers that they will be delivered in the next month unless they need it sooner. Most are ok with this.
  9. I would highly recommend the BFG mud terrains. I have had 2 sets now and they are great.
  10. Is there going to be an arbtalk stand at the APF? It would be good to put faces to the names.

  18. it wernt my job jp, russell is having it. i dont think he would want to pay billys prices, i did suggest that and thats the impression i got.
  19. if it had been my job i would have felled then chipped up,felled and chipped. as for clearing other peoples mess, a days work is a days pay and i was on a great day rate.
  20. I was brought in to do a days chipping/cutting for a local tree surgeon i know. he had dropped a load of connys the day before. the slope we were going up and down was a nightmare, once the brash was shifted he winched the tops down with the trusty county. 2 silage trailers full of chip were taken away.
  21. If you are to carry out work in accordance with B.S. 3998 recomendations for tree work, it states that spikes should only be used for take downs or ariel rescue. in my opinion you should not spike a tree no matter how high to the branches or whatever the bark etc, these are excuses. a good climber wont need to use them. if a climber did a job for me and was going to use them for pruning he would be asked not to and if he didnt like that then i wouldnt use him.
  22. i think you sent me a cv, if you send me your number i can keep you in mind, most people up here are just self employed and work for whoever they can when there is work. keep in touch.
  23. i wouldnt drop your prices too much, people will expect a cheap job in the future even when the work picks up again. keep smiling mate.
