  1. I am in the middle of designing my own chip box to fit onto the existing tub of a double cab pick up. It's just for small jobs so it doesn't need to tip I'll just unload by hand. I have some 3mm Ali checker plate for the sides and front and rear, I was thinking of making the adjustable angled roof out of mesh to let the air flow from the chipper flow through without causing loads of blow back. Are there any things to be aware of as I am sure there will be people who have built their own chip box themselves and have a few tips and pointers to share? Thank you in advanced! Andrew
  2. Thank you very much pal :-)
  3. Hello cs100 owners I am on the verge of buying a ex demo model as there is a bit of a wait for new ones. Please can someone do me a favour and measure the track of the wheels as I have found an old road roller trailer which might work to transport it. Cheers in advanced! Andrew - orchard

  16. I am not a fan they make my hands all sweaty!! Up here in sunny cumbria trees are generally wet, so within 30 mins of working the gloves are the same. Nothing dries as quick as your skin!!
  17. For me it would be a timberwolf 230, A toyota hilux tipper with integrated tool storage, an ifor tipper when we needed to chip loads and for wood/logs and a tracked mewp with its own trailer. Maybe a vw transporter 4 motion as a second towing vehicle. Probably £100k worth so not too bad!!!!
