we did think about a seat, stole one of my DB tattie planter to try it out but decided against it. Had a bit of steel grid lying about and bar with pins for lift arms so they worked perfect and its light enough to take off and on. I'm sure once we get the hang of the controls it wont take so long to load so no need for a seat.

Aye its perfect size for the Leyland and MB 1000. Its 6ft wide inside the posts. Some have a pretty big price tag on them too, we were lucky to find this one just 6 miles away. Just re-mounted the controls at the weekend and made a platform for the 3 point linkage to fit either tractor.

the 1000 pulls a 8 ton tracked machine on the loader ok but its a fair pull if up hill. 6 ton tracked machine is no problem. trailer brakes are awesome

Hello Casto, check out the MB tracs UK facebook page. a lot of guys on there who know their stuff about MB tracs and often ones for sale. I have a 1981 800 which I use for light duties and shows. does 30mph with 26" wheels. Dads 1000 used on firewood processor and lowloader trailer. not as fast top speed as the 800 but more grunt with the 6 pot. really handy with a passenger seat and the load deck behind the cab for tools etc. The bigger ones did have an 8th gear that was blanked off for sale in this country so if this 8th gear can be engaged with a bit of modification you can apparently reach 40mph MB also good for towing broken mogs

Big Beech chopped up at the weekend. Hard stuff Couldn't get in with the tractor so had to break out the wheel barrow -

mixed load of beech, oak, ash, sycamore and some holly home to chop big beech was really rotten inside -
we have the young lad next door to put the rings through the splitter

The farmi processor folds up well to carry along the road on our MB tracs. we only travel about 20-30miles max Don't hire it out for customers to use themselves.

we just get local tree surgeon friend with his big chainsaw in to ring them up then split the rings with the splitter

I have one on top of my stove which is in a recessed fireplace and I think it makes a difference to getting the hot air out into the room and not just heating the recess.

My dad uses one of these machines with boards. works away with 1 person as long as you have a box of boards cut up and use a separate bagger as putting a bag on the shute of the machine doesn't work the best.

mix of soft and hardwood fair log shed to fill. 26m3 per bay -
It could probably benefit from having rollers for feeding logs along. I use it for cutting up offcuts from building site and its great for that.

I have a blackbird nesting above the battery in my old jcb 3. was supposed to be taking it to a show this weekend but wont be moving it. 2 years ago they did the same and I put a photo on facebook then the local paper picked up on it and did a story on it, we got a free plug for our business.

we use a JCB loadall 526 and Marshall 602 JCB 3 just for show (so far)

That's the idea, dad was struggling with muscle pain in is arm using the handle all the time so a bit of pressure using the foot pedal helps relieve the arm.
