  3. I was told that storing green waste on your own land that has been brought over from somewhere else is still fly tipping? Can anyone clarify this? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  4. Have you tried devon garden machinery in kingskerswell nr Newton abbot.. I know they hire log splitters but not sure if there towable? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  5. Yeh what with a loose fitting saw getting dragged over limbs as you climb with it hanging off your harness, it's only a matter of time before it takes a dive out of its scabbard ... Saw pods the way to go😊 Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  6. Carrying on from matelot's idea would it be possible to stack the split logs etc between the working cutting area and the neighbours property to aid in noise suppression ?? As far as licences, are you into just logs or a full blown arb business as the council might want to check for green waste carrying /storing / burning licences etc... Finally they might tell you to apply for a 'change of use' on the land. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  7. Also like the look of the new sheath with the nylon rollers, mines a very loose fit! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  12. I'm not sure where you stand in the eyes of the council as off the noise levels but just make sure everything else is in order like no oil/fuel spills etc as in my experience when the council get involved they like to have a good nose around , be ready for any questions about green waste storage licences etc, environment agency may also pay a visit!
