  5. WTF the saw is still available...got this reply..... Hi, Still available. My name is Ravid Darl, I work as a flight sergeant in the Royal Air Force, I have recently been transferred to a new military base in Scotland but you don't have to worry because will use a fast and reliable cash on delivery service (PayPoint) , this way you will have the opportunity to try the item first. Let me know if you're interested to use this service. Cheers Ravid Darl Flight Sergeant
  6. well I have to say that the colleges are churning out "qualified" chainsaw operators at an alarming rate:scared1: do these guys really get jobs or do they just go with cs30 cs31 to work in other industrys.? Everyone is a tree surgeon now.....what happened to the tree cutters?:confused1:
  7. get this stuff it rules.... i water it down 50% water..... Leovet Power Phaser Fly Spray 500ml, Leovet, Fly Protection, Horse Care, For the Horse, £15.95, trot2.com
  8. id cut the wood off it first and see what happened.7 times out of 10 it will dislodge and hit the deck... the other 3 bite your head off ....I didnt say it was a safe method.
  9. lol yeah you chop the butt off and the crown fires up into the canopy with the stem end flicking your head off as it goes.... there is a pic on page 2.... dont look too bad:lol:
  10. lol I e-mailed the ****.. Hi I was sent your e-mail to arrange purchase of the chainsaw you advertised on gumtree.... when can I colect it and pay you please Thanks Bob. lets see then shall we..
  11. the gumtree ad has gone lol...
  12. would bridgewater college be worth approaching?
  13. :001_tt2::001_tt2:isuzu d-max is made of cheese and will break alot...lol...... here we go wagon war......
  14. there we go...i was close with a 1 ton load guess then...... that on the back of a 5ton 130 landy and your away.... even with a defender 90 it would take at least 2 ton.....all hail the rover.
  15. yep,It would be ok on a low weight 4x4 or a 5t gross train weight 130 landy but at a guess you would probably just about manage a ton load....im not sure but thats a good guess i hope... can you not chop the pick up off and fit a tipper to that?
  16. pull em over with a tractor from the field adjacent.safe that way. i would be suprised if much timber was useable other than fire wood but may stand corrected...
  17. that would be ok but looks quite heavy so might be worth totting up total unladen weight and see what sort of load you can carry....
  18. i use these at work:thumbup1: the small massey is the neighbours and used for moving the 30ft combine head
  19. that sounds tempting......
  20. ya dont need a winch for that....just cut it out.... some people got more tickets than sense these days..
  21. there is nothing worse than getting up a tree to find it previously butchered..... when you got 40% regrowth on an ash pollard it becomes a pain. Personally I would of removed the tree and replanted a more suitable species.
  22. lol i think im close enough to go try it out
