  6. A well maintained run in top handle in the right hands will last 2 years.....given to a monkey that dont care it will last 6 months.......
  7. geeezus.. a top handle has a two year lifespan if used 5 days a week.anything new will be better than an old saw so live with it.
  8. lol...... I do work in the rain and snow.....but its that im of an age now where i can choose mt week ahead so so so very carefully,I used my waterproof kevlars for the first time in a couple of years this week...

  10. im lucky,I get a list of jobs and when there done i get another list....... refitted the plough tips today......got the cultivator to do next wet day otherwise woods are busy.
  11. I have a list of jobs I save for wet days and also save the forest jobs for windy cold days,it is possible to work with the weather..
  12. it could be a private company on contract to the Local authority but eitherway its still tax payers money if the contract to cut is council...

  17. lol... plenty of companys out there that are no saw no work.people could do well to remember that when they get employed.
  18. would it not be cheaper to tell the staff to supply there own saws or go forth and multiply?
  19. there was a young lad at the last place i worked but he was only allowed to do private domestic work.Does your college ask you about commercial work?

  21. lol yep...i had a few jobs but basically hid in the workshop.....got loads fixed tho.
