  1. Well it looks like one of those 1970s style houses with parking on a little circle away from the front door, usually the footpath is not wide enough for the postman let alone a van. If you look at the neighbours with the lights on, they have built an extension over the rear driveway, hence why I asked if you could access where you took the picture.
  2. Access would be my first concern, as the house over the footpath has built over their driveway, has the homeowner also done the same behind where the picture was taken?. Yes I know you said van fits but looks bloody tight.
  3. They might be well maintained, but will have done double the hours sitting with the engine running on idle. So expect exhaust/DPD/intercooler/turbo problems etc
  4. Well for the sake of arguments, we round the total number of planes currently flying at 10k, each burning on average 9k litres per hour. That's at a low end of 90,000,000 litres per hour globally in the upper atmosphere.

  6. Effectively the butterfly effect. Weather improves due to lack of excessive clouds and localised rainfall, systems return to a normal restoration of normal heating & cooling from sunlight allowing better natural wind and convection. We had decent weather and no extremes
  7. Think you'll find it's worse, high altitude particles of dust and smoke cause cloud formations and other weather pattern's. Exact same thing happened after 9/11 for the best part of two weeks and the last time that Icelandic volcano stopped planes.
  8. Aren't you sure it wasn't an almost complete lack of air travel ?
  9. The Corsa van will be classed as commercial, so that's the basic, probably euro 5 as our euro 6 pickup was £320 last week. Simple solution is to buy a standard Corsa.
  10. Well the Asda brothers did buy an airplane or two.
  11. How many tonnes of tax free jet fuel does a A380 use ?
  12. Don't look at the EU requirements for new cars. Think everything new has to be fitted with a version of OnStar.
  13. Hum, I have a feeling my 4 litre Perkins won't be going electric. I can use 2000 litres not going anywhere!. If you believe they'll reduce the tax on fuel, I've a Nigerian prince who has a investment opportunity for you.
  14. And what's wrong with the bases of the current basic model, the more miles you do the more you pay from using fuel as your average car driver doesn't pay much ved. The only real sticking point for most of us is the EV owners getting off absolutely Scott free. Large vehicles don't really pay a lot as they're expected to use more fuel, whilst the tax isn't ring fenced from ved or fuel for road repairs. Maybe ring fence the tax from ved, fuel and those EV tariffs?.
  15. Is this the point where he pops up and tells us the keys were a clue that it was from Gregg's?.
  16. I could be arsey and say that Facebook is for general moaning if you don't want help. Always call them unless it's less than £50, same goes for breakdown, TV and any other bills excluding utilities as that's just a waste of oxygen dealing with the system. And comparison websites are just the pointless work of the devil, unless you like them profiting off your information.
  17. Might be worth doing the full length and getting some fencing guys in. Nothing worse than half a fence line and gives you the opportunity to straighten it up in the process.
  18. I'm more intrigued as to what the electric board are doing to the left with four stays.
  19. They certainly learn, but FAC give a little advantage of distance. Need to start clearing the overgrown again before the bluebells start growing over the next few weeks.
  20. Same here, I only ever get the occasional weirdo that's taking a leak field side or one of the utilities guys. Always seems to be when I'm in camo on the hunt for squirrels.
  21. HW90K was the last Weihrauch I had, definitely getting another one day. I got lazy afterwards with PCP and had Air Arms, possibly my 5th. Just remember whatever you're budget it's 200 for a decent scope plus sports match mounts.
  22. HW100 are just a bit pricey tho, bit like the whole FX fad. Yeah they're nice but I want to use it not spend three weeks playing with it or worry about dinking it.
  23. Well don't sit on @Botty Cough's fence.
  24. Had a sub 12 huntsman, I hated it with every fibre of my being. Air arms are a bit bulky but a dream to shoot from 12 to FAC. If it's sub 12 S410 are cheap and short even with a moderator, FAC is the S510 but awful moderator as it's a shrouded barrel. Depends on budgets.
