Personally, just bite the bullet and go tarmac or concrete. Probably around 5k, guessing around 1k of concrete plus a bit of mesh, fibre, drainage and the guys laying it at 4-5" over a decent base.

As they say god loves a chancer. Maybe for such jobs price for leaving the lads vehicles the day beforehand, or look into 1ton concrete blocks maybe ?. The blocks idea might be a great advertisement too, for your safety etc signage.

Obviously your not the farmer, they'd have been down there within 5 minutes of it being on the floor. Cut off and use the limbs, plank the rest and don't expect any payout because Geoff down the pub says oak is worth a fortune.

Nah, we're supposed to gather together at warm hubs for the cold months. I suspect they'll be like penguins keeping warm in groups, whilst they pick off the ones on the edge for sacrifices or turning into soylent green listening to a PA of our joyful leaders speeches.

Why not just ask Ifor if there's a kit, they no doubt sell it as an option. Plus saves all the messing around making it hard for yourself, might a few quid more but it'll be bolt on I bet as it's all value engineering.

Personally, just steer well clear!. There are two people in life to avoid annoying, taxman & HR. Everyone else can be reasonable or reasoned with 🙂. You don't get a kings ransom for doing nothing in return.

Foam shouldn't be expensive, maybe £20 a tyre. Or at a push the green tyre goop. But the valve is always the weakest point as they like to slice them off for fun if the pressure gets low or the weight gets too much. Done many a wheelbarrow/sack truck and ride on including some retarded American trolley with bolt together half rims. -
