  1. And that my boy is why you always use stainless steel screws in oak, unless you're old school and use dowel joints.
  2. Personally, just bite the bullet and go tarmac or concrete. Probably around 5k, guessing around 1k of concrete plus a bit of mesh, fibre, drainage and the guys laying it at 4-5" over a decent base.
  3. @Jase hutch Is that it's 24th birthday present?.
  4. As they say god loves a chancer. Maybe for such jobs price for leaving the lads vehicles the day beforehand, or look into 1ton concrete blocks maybe ?. The blocks idea might be a great advertisement too, for your safety etc signage.
  5. Legally I think you're up a proverbial without a paddle. As you really don't want to be touching a car for fear of damage claims and such.
  6. Surely the farm would have CCTV of the vehicle, even my place has it on the entrance.
  7. Obviously your not the farmer, they'd have been down there within 5 minutes of it being on the floor. Cut off and use the limbs, plank the rest and don't expect any payout because Geoff down the pub says oak is worth a fortune.
  8. Nah, we're supposed to gather together at warm hubs for the cold months. I suspect they'll be like penguins keeping warm in groups, whilst they pick off the ones on the edge for sacrifices or turning into soylent green listening to a PA of our joyful leaders speeches.
  9. Why not just ask Ifor if there's a kit, they no doubt sell it as an option. Plus saves all the messing around making it hard for yourself, might a few quid more but it'll be bolt on I bet as it's all value engineering.
  10. It's good for keeping slugs off things tho.
  11. Primarily coal also contains sulphur, so sulphuric acid and such.

  13. Maybe he thought it was one of those online chat bot help things ?. Just waiting for the 1 star Google review
  14. I thought switching to secondary was quicker than reloading?
  15. Termiter and Termite 2 revenge of the woodlouse.
  16. Jeez, it's "No conifer for old men".
  17. Personally, just steer well clear!. There are two people in life to avoid annoying, taxman & HR. Everyone else can be reasonable or reasoned with 🙂. You don't get a kings ransom for doing nothing in return.
  18. I think the tax liability is on you, they weren't going after the BBC for Gary or itv for Lorraine. If it sounds dodgy go elsewhere.
  19. New tyre with it in built, Google the tyre size and see what pops up. As even a new inner tube is over a tenner these days.
  20. Foam shouldn't be expensive, maybe £20 a tyre. Or at a push the green tyre goop. But the valve is always the weakest point as they like to slice them off for fun if the pressure gets low or the weight gets too much. Done many a wheelbarrow/sack truck and ride on including some retarded American trolley with bolt together half rims.
  21. Personally, I'd see if you can get a foam version. What's it off, a ride on mower?.

You never do. Like an old boss said to someone before they retired. You've not got 40 years experience, you've got 1 days experience that you've repeated for 40 years.
  23. Jebus it's a bit early for Halloween.

Form of transport means any aircraft, ship, motor vehicle, tractor, or any animal drawn vehicle or bicycle. See, two dictionary definitions you've learnt for the day, aren't I so educational for you 🙂

Fine, you want to go down the pedantic Peds route. I'll turn up on my form of transport at the drive through, forklift, tractor, car or bicycle or the nice pair of Nike waffle trainers I've been meaning to wear in ?.
