  1. If it's a dry site and close to a town or village, you might be able to do a glamping/wedding kinda deal. Speak to a few planners and they'll be able to point you in the right direction. It's a few grand a month for a couple of days work/sacrifice of the solitude.
  2. Depends on if she's one of these new age naturists.
  3. Me thinks a lack of moisture at the moment is something of an impossibility, it's rained that much Ahab and an ark could sail by. Just let them crack on, if the shoe was on the other foot you'd be telling them to do one.
  4. Leave your neighbours to it, your the one speaking to their tree guy and the council about TPOs.
  5. So what are you actually asking, other than your neighbour has a good reason to remove a couple of 30 year old trees ?. Personally, get shot as it's better now than being inside the living room or garage.
  6. If that got me Victoria Coren, count me in.
  7. Without recounting my tale of woe, I'm running 45 acres zero grants as it's just more hand tying. Plus a firewood business using arb arisings probably 300m3+, a semi full time electrical engineering business importing/distributing & servicing. Let's not even get into the finances of what I've spent 100k+, stay with the containers idea first as it's about £30 a week for a 20ft.
  8. Welcome to the farming club, it's very expensive if you ever want to do absolutely anything. Forget the firewood & woodchip, unless you want to be a tip site as 9 acres isn't going to be enough. If it was me, get your rental stuff on its own two feet and use that income to pay for more after getting vat registered in the name of the farm, as it's also a separate income from you.
  9. Have you actually spoken with them or just expecting them to have in stock a special order part ?. As per what kram has said, any dealer including L&S should be able to order them and be shipped from Germany or wherever in a day or two.

You got a 3 year guarantee tho, usually no questions asked providing it wasn't squashed or run through a chipper.
  11. It's safer not reading labels when you know, it was in lipstick originally, mmm yasty rendered animal kisses 🙂. Always wondered what they did at Trafford park to remove the odour, I have vague memories of them using ozone but that did have a foam fractionation result.
  12. Start simple, disconnect the battery and multimeter the switch.
  13. Hop on lass aslong as you do the hard work 😉.
  14. Have a walk around any older town and village, they usually had a decorative metal crown around the end, usually at the top of bottom of hills to off gas on its way to the treatment plant. Think a lot are listed structures these days, so probably more decorative than functional, as I think the manhole grids in the road are vented ?. I have vague memories of some also being lamp posts in some parts of the country.
  15. The worse thing is it sticks to your nose hair for days, it's worse than sewage FOG. It's like that burp where you can smell the stench of that last terrible meal.
  16. And preferably bald, it's the sort of stuff that sticks to hair.
  17. Plus you also have to question wtf was happening for two years as he slowly took them down. I can fart in a direction and the council would be here in the morning.
  18. Whilst they are under your direction, you're responsible, within reason obviously. You could argue due diligence etc etc.
  19. And you're surprised?. Wasn't there a case somewhere where the fine was sizable, this probably barely even covered the cost of the court lighting let alone the actual case.
  20. Fabricate something as it's not just off the shelf. These might require a little grinding etc Kontak Valve Block Replacement Handle Set WWW.EBAY.CO.UK Part of our large holding of Kontak Valve Parts. Bracket to attach to Valve Block. Consists Of:19cm Long... KONTAK HYDRAULIC VALVE SLICE HANDLE WWW.EBAY.CO.UK Find many great new & used options and get the best deals for KONTAK HYDRAULIC VALVE SLICE HANDLE...
  21. Cut and paste the number into Alibaba or similar and they'll be pages of them, bit like Winton and a few other similar companies. Usual we have designed or improved etc, no mate you have imported a container load of cheap stuff to flog and will probably be their downfall as even their log splitters are looking very Chinese nowadays.
  22. Chinesium of the lowest order. Any machine with that stupid numbering screams Chinese tat at that price for something that's new.
  23. Why, you don't sell it by the ton unless it's on a lorry.
  24. Wrong type of biatch 🙄. Dyslexia again ?.
  25. Erm closer to 60hp it's a 1970 tractor. Always run tractor equipment at around 50%, gives plenty of reserves when it gets bogged down. Plus you'd realistically never chip over 130mm unless you want biomass chip.
