  1. Some expensive cutting boards soon to be in the gift shop
  2. Chainsaw must have weighed half his body weight, that and actually taking it and the gear!.
  3. Fuel tank might weigh more than a 750kg class chipper tho.
  4. I'll get my sarcasm sign in future. Gear oil won't be the same as it's got additives for a reason, EP90 at £9 a litre.
  5. Or £5.84 a litre from tool station, we'll be discussing replacing the bar with a sugihara bar next.
  6. I certainly wouldn't use gear oil, it's probably safer using used engine oil than gear oils, additive laden with anti foaming agents etc.
  7. Greenmech or mother gaia ?
  8. Whilst I get closed loop kinda stuff, dash cams, home CCTV etc. You're not going to do anything with it unless the law gets broken or you have an accident or break-in. Just seems like a daft distinction, rule for thee but not for me.
  9. Whilst at the same time cyclists can film car drivers legally and then the police take action!.
  10. That's exactly my point, I had this argument with the council and councillors many times as fly tippers used the council carparks as a dumping ground yet we couldn't just put a solar powered camera in the sign.
  11. And did anyone actually get done, not planning stuff as that's a whole different legal quagmire.
  12. Local councils are supposed to oversee it, the same councils that fail to even fine anyone for dog mess, littering and even fly tipping! Unless they're planning to farm it out with financial incentives, might be one way to get actual results. Granted I think half the article is a recycled wood burners are bad bs.
  13. It's also been known about within the boating community for decades. From memory, it's also illegal to sell non smokeless fuels such as coal in a smoke control area. Plus it's not called itinerant, it's continuous cruising.
  14. NGK talks Spark Plugs | techtalk.ie WWW.TECHTALK.IE When it comes to spark plugs, the section most people are aware of...
  15. Is that a name brand spark plug, as I presume it's leeching out the copper from the electrode ?.
  16. Wouldn't you then get accused of ogling the ladies
  17. Are you using the chipper as a dead weight ?
  18. Checkup and X ray £60 last night.
  19. Well, put your name down for it. They'll either hand it to you with a note on file to the effect of its yours unless someone else lays claim, or miraculously they will find the owner when they do their due diligence. Have you actually tried using the map tool on the land registry ?. As the address version isn't very good at fields/woodland.
  20. Sell the manitou, buy a small compact tractor with some creature comforts and a small rough terrain forklift. Got myself an old Ausa C11, 1.2ton capacity. 900cc engine Vs using the 4000cc tractor loader, it's a no brainer with red at 93p a litre.
  21. 50 litres per boiler Kw is generally recommended or larger on a log boiler as you don't want to heat the whole tank You'd be surprised how quickly you can get a 1500 litre tank from 5c > 90c when the house is upto temperature.
  22. I do burn the absolute dregs, that being said I have a 1500 litre tank and run the boiler at maximum of around 85c. I found if I went above 90 it just wastes heat cycling up and down. Plus have experimented with and without a draft regulator, using one pretty much halved wood usage.
  23. Bin day my boy, they're all lined up like toy soldiers!.
  24. Jebus, you're house must be either roasting or even more uninsulated than my barn!. I might get thorough a wheelie bin every two days with a 25kw eco Angus, but 45m3 is serious amounts.
  25. I hope you meant 4.5 m3 as 45m3 is 38 IBC'S
