  1. Very behind at work now so discussed visit is now likely in September.
  2. Thanks, will swing past Bartrams Mowers tomorrow for a look see.
  3. Is there any reason why I cannot use Aspen in my little Suzuki 2.2 hp outboard. It normally runs on 100:1 but seem to remember something in the manual about 50:1 for leisure and 100:1 for commercial use or the other way around. It only gets used during wildfowling season and I had it out today and had this brainwave. If I can spread cost over work and play it becomes viable cost wise.
  4. I converted an Australian licence so in my experience, yes.
  5. Hate to shatter your illusion but Australia is way more bogged down with legislation. Never lived in a country with so many rules before. You need a permit to apply for a bloody permit there.
  6. Interested with enough notice plus I know of one other. BTS do CS32 when numbers warrant it. Dont waste your time asking Otley.
  7. My first Sugihara bar arrived today with the much appreciated freebies. Thanks Rob.
  8. Emailed the link to my MP too but I fear she may be too busy opening dogs shows to respond.
  9. PS, avoid anything to do with Merchant Rentals. Cannot be arsed to go into details but always read the small print especially this bit "Bend over and take it like a man".
  10. In my experience in another industry. Yes, well worth it. Removes the " I will have to send you a cheque as my husband has the cheque book". Then you have to go to the bank to deposit the bloody cheque and wait for it to clear.
  11. Done, along with 192 others. Bit of a non starter.
  12. I am bawling reading your post. I am taking my Lab for a one way drive to vet on Fri. Him and I cut our wildfowling teeth together and it breaks my heart seeing a shadow of a once big, mad enthusiastic dog. RIP all our departed smelly, infuriating moulting bloody friends, we miss you.
  13. Brilliant dry sense of humour. I met him after one of his talks. Worth every penny.
  14. Had a look at one when ordering D Max. Hell of a lot of truck for your money. If I was buying trucks as company vehichles for employees to use, would buy them. For me, I need to get used to the brand and brand recognition first. They are starting to gain ground in SA. We have some on the farm with no problems being reported by my brother yet.
  15. Sorry, did not explain that well. Used to bottom right in my ranger. Went bottom right for reverse, got 6th and went forward into wall. Reverse in D Max is left of 1st.
  16. Everyone I know driving new Rangers in SA are having massive engine management and injector problems. May be the crap quality diesel in SA but I will avoid them.
  17. Was it the shape of the steering wheel? That felt odd to me. I found the key quite chunky and did not keep it in my pocket for fear of hurting my testimonials. And I put the truck in 6th and drove into a wall. Gently thankfully. Reverse is not meant to be top left! Other than that I must have liked it as I ordered one.
  18. School farm fair on 24th? See you afterwards in the conference centre for drinks and canapes.
  19. Have recently used Miles Tool & Machinery Centre
  20. With a name like Pinkfoot I would have been surprised if you were not a Norfolk fowler!
  21. My 2p's worth. If you are going to have a blog then blog. Yours is already 2 months stale. In my previous incarnation I had similar on my rigging business site and it took up too much valuable time keeping it refreshed so I canned it. It is amazing how many people commented when there was nothing new after a week. PS, other than that, a nice pro looking site that should inspire confidence in the customer
  22. This is going to sound idiotic. Could someone explain using the cord please. Do you just pull the starter corder out and stick a loop down the plug hole and below the piston?
  23. Never give up! My avatar is my old lab who is my best mate. Sadly done his last season as he cannot see very well due to cataracts and my young bitch eye wiping him all the time. He will now be a companion dog on the foreshore while the little cow does the work. Sport of kings for me.
