  1. You might get it in but you wouldn't get it out! ?
  2. Absolutely no issues with the machine whatsoever, have a chat with @equip4ind it gets in places you really wouldn't get any other wood chipper & dealt with the brash of an 80ft + ash tree in a couple of hours, saved a load of rigging & one hellish drag so saved me on labour too. It really is a win / win machine ?
  3. I looked into it last summer after seeing the stickers plastered all over the tinkers trucks, did a search & not one registered locally. Asked one (I know) about it, said he got the stickers off ebay!
  4. It's only rated for the M25! ?
  5. How many days a week does it work?
  6. All depends on what is going to make you the most money. If you view the hyundai kit as disposable & also having a lot of depreciation you should be fine. I bought one of their brushcutters in may last year & I'll be lucky if it sees an anniversary to be fair - don't expect great build quality! My second hand stump grinder cost similar money & it paid for itself the 5th time it went out ? if you're spending more on hiring than 20% of the machine cost to buy - BUY! ☺
  7. I was going through phones every six months before I got a cat B15Q tough smart phone, had it just over two years now & it's in my pocket every day. Highly recommended
  8. It should be OK... It takes up to 3 inches! ? ? ? ? ? ?
  9. Be a Man & grow a pair! ? ? ?
  10. Ps don't use your money for a cheap Chinese toy that's going to break within a year at best! use it as a deposit on a new pro machine From @Arblease ?
  11. I went through all the options you guys are thinking about! Unless you work on flat tarmac every day I suggest you get yourselves one of these ? a perruzo tb100 tracked from @equip4ind
  12. Thought this was a joke at first!. How about a petition for better driving standards, more lessons, harder test etc. A five minute drive on the motorway will tell you all the training shortfalls out there. So with drivers at a higher standard than now (shouldn't be too hard!) we wouldn't need winter tyres forced upon us as another bleeding tax
  13. Peruzzo tb100 tracked chipper thanks to @equip4ind & @Arblease :-)
  14. Stability is similar to an 8" going up a side slope diagonally but going down steep bank is better reversing as most of the weights in the front, came close to tipping point twice but doing it where you wouldn't get any other chipper in so would have meant a 150ft drag! . I did have my feet up on the back with my arse hanging out the back on one bit (have put a tracked jensen in & out of many a hairy spot!) but thought I'd better pay it off first before I get silly with it. It's a conversation starter every where it goes, literally had a bloke flag me down to quote for a chipping job! When it was on the trailer.
  15. Self employed Climbers, cutters & grounds maintenance ops wanted for upcoming projects in Pembrokeshire & possibly Carmarthenshire. Pm me with day rates & tickets please. Cheers leon Ps if anyone wants some work this week & first week of January get in touch asap!
  16. And the winner of the wee chipper club best wee chipper award goes to .... (*drum roll) The peruzzo tb100 on tracks! Truly an awesome bit of kit. Good luck pushing your wee chippers about boys n girls! Ps it got up those steps in no time :-)
  17. They approached me last week and I thought it was just going to be a few patches here & there but it's actually whole housing estates, sheltered accommodation blocks with quite a lot of greenery. It's going to take me at least a day, maybe two to just check out each site :-)
  18. Hi Kevin, sadly can I see a picture of your multione with the mower attachment please? I'm Currently tendering for a 32 site housing association & on the lookout for prospective toys.
  19. Peruzzo performed perfectly again today + you would never have got any other chipper in this garden, well not up the steps & so easily. Best purchase of the year! Speak to Daniel @Equip4ind for buying outright or Ben @Arblease for an amazing finance deal.
  20. Haha not yet but it didn't rain today ? build quality is more Japanese or German to be fair, some of welding isn't perfect aesthetically but I'm really picky on that shit. Only found one bolt that needed tightening (slightly) but only time will tell. It's not a forst tr8, it's horses for courses.
  21. That's basically what I was going to do with a cs100 & a tracked dumper but it makes it way too long without the hopper over the handle bars. It does make it more versatile though, being able to separate chipper & dumper quickly, it's 3 or 4 bolts on the peruzzo & impossible to lift unaided. How much is just the dumper & ramps?
  22. I'd hoped to take a video today but my helmet / camera bracket is broken. My only experience of gravity fed machines were on cheap 'toys' not pro kit like this & make no mistake it's a machine for full on pro use. Got to say I'm very impressed so far but only chipped for a few hours today, a full load of macrocarpa, a few bits had to be forced in due to the shape of the hopper but you don't even have to sned everything into straight sticks as it drags the next bit in ready for the blades. For a one man band I'd say it's a game changer. Day one, very impressed & very happy! Danny if you go out on the road for a few weeks with a demo machine I reckon you would sell bucket loads of these...
  23. Mine arrived today! Cheers Danny for all you've done (customer service has been exceptional) full review coming soon as not had chance to test it properly yet. I was a bit concerned about build quality being Italian but it really seems a cracking bit of kit. Testing it on very wet lawson cypress tomorrow...
  24. Make sure you get a cis receipt or you could be paying it twice!
  25. I'm in Swansea regularly if it helps. Both trees are about 12-15ft tall. Dbh= diameter at breast height.
