  2. Ps if you you use your own contractor, make sure they use bio oil in their saws. The environment agency should advise you best.
  3. Nothing is impossible... With the right kit! ?
  4. Oooooh look, now available through arblease! ? http://www.arblease.co.uk/machinery/peruzzo-tb100-c-tracked-drum-chipper-brand-new/
  5. Make no mistake it's a pro machine not your amateur homeowner toy. The chute is coming off & it's going through a house next week (hopefully!) it won me the job ? I took a gamble with it as it was unknown to me but absolutely no regrets here. Can't fault it, we'll, electric start on the dumper engine would be nice! ?
  6. Faultless, could still shave with the blades & it's had a wee bit of abUSE
  7. Which did you do first? & which register do you think brings in more work? Cheers ?
  8. That was pretty much my reaction! ? here's a link https://www.smasltd.com Housing association prefers chas & this construction company wants Smas. All I want to do is cut down trees & get paid! ?
  9. Why bother with tree surgery when there's scrap to collect & drives to tarmac?!! ? it's an ancient walkway from the Grove to a chapel which they want reinstating so that wasn't an option. Twas an 80ft ash tree about 6ft dbh
  10. As it's not your job, without knowing the layout or the reason then I wouldn't expect you to. If someone pays you to remove a tree, do you just leave it there?! ?
  11. Next to your ever helpful comments?!...
  12. I had the body as well & was going to get another tracked peruzzo (just the dumper bit) to go hand in hand + I'd have a spare to keep the chipper moving but this is so much better. Have you tightened up the drive belt yet?
  13. Hi all, bit of a dilemma... I was going to go down the chas route but in discussion with a construction company today they mentioned they only recognise Smas. So i was wondering which brings in more work in regards to being on the directory lists for tenders etc. Also, Has anyone signed up to both? Cheers in advance
  14. That picture is just the first part, you wouldn't get an avant / multione down there... A vermeer yes maybe but the ground is so uneven, with too long a log would tip over. Only just got the chipper down there! ?
  15. I've been toying with the same idea but for the amount of use it will get compared to the cost, have decided to go for something a bit different but will get a lot more use https://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/Professional-Tracked-Flail-Mower-75cm-Cutting-Width-Made-in-Italy/232695402276?_mwBanner=1
  16. If any of you guys haven't got one of these, then you're missing a trick! Will carry & tip over half a ton & will drag a quarter of a ton at least. For more information see the helpful friendly folks at @equip4ind quality kit & quality service ? ps short of hiring a crane there really was no easier way of getting those rings out. Cheers Danny ? ?
  17. Ah, landrover! ?
  18. Ah, you drive a Ford then?! ?
  19. There's two things you need driving a landy mewp on anything over than a motorway at 50mph + & that's biceps n bollocks! ? used to end up driving faster off road to stop the bloody thing sinking !
  20. Haha it is indeed! I used to drive a defender mewp at work so know about the elbow out of the open window... In all weathers ?
  21. Cheers guys, I've had loads of discos & a 110 v8 years ago, thing is I went to jap stuff for reliability! ? currently running a B2500 & a transit tipper but need a van now as well so thinking about combining the two. Know of some td5s with close to 300k on them
  22. Calling all landrover buffs, would you consider a 54 plate with 200k miles on it or should I stick with Japanese?! It's a 110 tipper at just over £8k. Cheers in advance
  23. Had mine a few months now, cracking bit of kit! It's a pro machine that's for sure, not a cheap homeowners Chinese doobery. Tracks through doorways, tracks places you wouldn't get any other chipper! Chat to Daniel @Equip4ind ? or Ben @Arblease get one - you won't be disappointed! After sales back up is second to none as well ? Ps coped with a couple of connies & a willow today no bother
  24. Feels bloody awesome! ? ? ?
