    Where am I ?

Thought I would hijack too as it was a good view. Where was I today?
  4. I thought that they cut OK to start with but would not hold there edge very well, seemed to be for ever sharpening, also found the odd tooth on some chains really hard and the file struggled to sharpen them, and some were quite soft. Found the one on my mates climbing saw was very aggressive from the start, as if the raker teeth were to low. They are good for the price, similar to the Australian Archer chains I think. Overall think I will personally stick with the Oregon & Stihl for the time being. Good luck with it Northern Arb would be nice to have a bit of decent competition in the future
  5. Kaskara, Grazon Pro or Barbarian Glyphosate
  6. Not devon but about to have Landy done at H&C coach builders in Yeovil.
  7. I have skellerups for around the farm, very good boots.
  8. Yes. Reuse the gates, angle strainers not box.
  9. I just got 2 quotes for 300 metres from 2 mates 1 was 5.40/metre the other was 5.75 plus vat. removal and dispose was £200. 3 gate ways that need rehanging £50/gateway. hope this helps
  10. Speak to Agrigem they have an online chat that you could use in Oz, they may be able to help. What type of plant is it for? and what pest? Agrigem Ltd
  11. Scimitar spray says that it works on ground elder.
  12. Glyphosate or the New Dow agri ones Garlon Ultra and Icade, made specifically for woody weeds such as Budlia Knotweed, Bramble, hogweed & gorse.
  13. I do a lot of farm knapsacking, generally people dont like doing it round here as very hilly. Once you get your name out farmers talk to each other or put a small advert in your local parish magazine or shop. I personally have never advertised and have lots of knapsacking this time of year.
  14. I am going to try some Scimitar spray on it. It says it hits it hard I will let you know how it goes.
