    I had a small horizontal splitter but I kept blowing the seals down to being a bit ambitious. Bought the handy pro 7 and no problems or refusals two years on.

    Handy are good. Go for the highest spec you can afford. Much easier than an axe.

    No mixing. Use straight from the can. More expensive but you save on repair costs and worth the extra for the health benefits.

    Just seen a post on treebay asking about aspen and I have never seen so many people slag it off and say it causes headaches? Trolls maybe. They may need some facts.

    Clas ohlon also do the peltor defenders. Good sound and well made. Seem to hold up to light rain OK but feel like I am testing it to see how much rain will kill them. Still working years on. 👍

    I use a zip tie attached to the handle. Trimmed to the length of log I want to cut.

    About 5 years I think.

    I have used normal emulsion on a few no problems, the the stoves smell for a short while , especially if you over burn them . get a stove pipe thermometer and see if you are burning too hot
