  1. Thanks for your imput . Is your flue in a stack or external. I've read that standard rods can damage the liner. I've got 1.5m Bailey rods but didn't want to damage the new liner. Just seeing what others are doing.
  2. We have just had our chimney lined for our wood burning stove. What are people using to clean their stove flue? Traditional flexi rods and brush or power sweep system? There seems to be a lot of very cheep power sweep kits but I worry they will come apart in the flue and cause problems.
  3. It's balanced quite well. I just wanted a wooden handle. I don't like plastic handles especially in the wet.
  4. Did you get around to ordering the wooden handle?
  5. That handle looks good. Do you know the size of the head?
  6. It reduces the amount of bending when logs drop off the splitter. Easy to stick into lumps. I just need to make a holder for it on the splitter. So far so good.
  7. I was looking a while back at a hookaroon to use when splitting. I thought an axe combo would be good for stingy wood but couldn't find anything. I ended up modifying a mattock. It's 15" long and under £9 Anyone else come up with any solutions?
  8. Just had a quick look. £530 https://www.internetgardener.co.uk/shop/garden-machinery/log-splitters/handy-thpls7te-pro-heavy-duty-electric-log-splitter/p/5890?infinity=ict2~net~gaw~ar~240888249759~kw~~mt~~cmp~IMP %7C PLA - 1%3A Catch All %232~ag~All %232 > Other Brands %28NEW%29&gclid=Cj0KCQjwqPDaBRC6ARIsACAf4hDBeEorKf9pJJOWs9rpu2whnKWCchh1I7-q62tnJJEoD_qCd7-LHMMaAqUaEALw_wcB

  20. Lots of pics of your daughters car . Including a tape showing the height of the damage. Ask the garage if the other car is local. Get the pain from your daughters car. Do the other when you find it. Sent from my SM-J320FN using Arbtalk mobile app
  21. You could also leave a note on the windscreen saying " you hit my car last night. Call me with your insurance details. It has been reported to police. It is a criminal offence not reporting an accident to police within 24 Hours. " And leave your number. Add as much detail to the note as you can. Reg. Colour. Make of both cars ,Accident location and time and date. Take a pic of the note . And a pic of the note on the car. Sent from my Nexus 9 using Arbtalk mobile app
  22. Take paint samples from each car. Video doing it and put them in marked clean food bags ,seal and sign across the tape. A bit of blue and white from each car. If the insurance get funny tell them you want the paint analyzed for comparison. Could help in the future. Sent from my Nexus 9 using Arbtalk mobile app
