Oxalic acid ( think that's correct) is good for getting these small stains out of oak, not a chance on that though.

Tell me the make of a decent flask. I love my black tea, not in the sort of environment where I can boil me own up. So I take a flask with me, well it must be the forth flask that has fuxxxd up today, tried cheap tried expensive. Your suggestions please. Thank you.

Cheers chaps, I'm going with the wood wasp thing (even though I'm not sure) but I found a few more today and watched them wriggling about. Looked like they had a wasp type arse and six legs, how many legs does a wasp have? Very interesting to watch close up, they were shitting out perfect little cylindrical wood pellets! If they could produce bigger ones I could sell them as processed logs.
