    I agree with what you say In the states there are different grades of cert fallers so thereby the instructors are in place for that. There are also wild land and wild fire certs too and if your working in that area they have to be up to date......they'll even check your kit before they let ya on to a job. The logging industry it really depends where who and for whom your working there are very few things that cover all states lol

    Oh I agree there things all bout money these days and I do feel for the young guys as i'd guess very little funding there. I do worry that a skill set is gonna be lost I totally agree that there always has to be a compromise ......but hey I'll throw this one out there should apprenticeships not be pushed again ,.........but properly not just a gimmick???

    Yep horses for courses I agree. I only got full wraps on my big saws ...... The only issue I have as such is folks should have a broader knowledge available at the training level if that makes sense??? I freely admit I know jack about tree surgery but I still think I can learn from it.

    Hmmmmmmmmm ok the thing is the comps on the shows do actually log in real life .....I worked for one of them on contract. I have never seen or been part of heli logging and never watch it lol but there are a few that do log that way

    One thing you will find tho is the big three comps manufacture in there colors 2 orange 1 red There really not a huge difference in visibility however in regards to work in the woods you'll prob find more orange and red than yellow

LOL .............husky rule (now ducking lol) My 372 is back stateside as is my 3120 and 2101 if I'm back here long enough then could ya build me a ported 372 .....It up in the air how long we'll be back for but I do miss my 372 lol I didn't bring the bigger saws as shipping is high lol all I got here is a 357xp a 288xp a 395 and shhh don't tell anyone a ms260 lol
