  2. Hi after owning a Turboknee System, a Systéme 3a and a Haas Velox and finding them all non practical(hope that is good american)... Actually really shitty all of them. Turbo is to loose, Systeme 3a is not adjustable on chin lenght, Haas is designed for very tall people. Looked also at SAKA same basic problem as the others has to be removed for work. Inspired by Dan Climbing Arborist I made 2 knee ascenders. First worked very well, but sling was to worn out; lasted 3 trees. Made a second and its even better. Design is basic, piece is compact, no bungees, no need to remove after ascent, clips in 1 place only...your rope. Dont know about you guys but not having to remove it for work is to me A SUPER PLUS POINT.

If I use the file in the pic 3/8 on a .325 mini chain what will be the resulte?? Great life I have where all this new things force me to learn more and more.

  15. Hi this is a Ficus benjamina???...white sap dripping from branches and trunk, main stem with cracks that close and open again. The tree is located in a school, has a wind channel straight from the sea, between surrounding houses. 3 trees are in decay in a area of 10x15ms(33x50). What do you think and recomend as I want to rescue this tree if does not envolve chemicals(those will be sent straight to my head
  16. mostly tRex 19.1mm...I spliced 1 dead eye, 1 ultrasling and 1 whoopie??? wich turns onto a retrivable rigging anchor with 2 rings when needed, tree will always define the tools used, of course
  17. Yes. I presume the standard way is sling in the groove and rig line through the ring, is that correct?
  18. gents, that rope on ring combo is used( at least by the manufacturer Giorgio Fiori and me )for double line rigging...never had issues like that...might be cause I never negative rigged with 2 ropes, but do it with 2 separate rings
