  1. @eggsarascal heal quick man. Wrist is a ****************
  2. As I am a beginner, everyone asks me "why such long bar?" Recently a PRO worked with us...any chain he got went bland, he pushed the machines to hard. Makin them cut like shit. Now us sharp chains and no unnecessary force on the machines, all was taught by old guy, without belly and fit. So your machines don't dig in the wood just from their cheer weight? Maybe a revision on work practices?
  3. Around here we have mostly Eucaliptus globulus and they love fire.
  4. Dealing with lots of them, my experience is you can't kill eucs without poison or pulling root ball out. Fire reborns some eucs.
  5. Or get a smart winch less can go wrong with it
  6. On 17th January my birthday happened BT coms for the protos. Naturarbo is making 13 years and a new work box is on the way to commemorate. Happy birthday to us.
  7. Won't the 535i need a 1/4 sprocket??
  8. Hi @Dan Maynard I also used foot loops before. Main problem was them slipping while branch walking. You can get a good foot loop from a retired foot ascender like ninja or quick step. This boot has a loop attached designed for ascenders, very practical. Look for Arbpro Cervino Wood or Arbortec Kayo. All climbing boots should have it, less pieces, more production.
  9. Shit i am uneducated as ****************. Didn't know grindr and went to look for it. My friends hope you dont have feelings but anyone in to that is sender/bender.
  10. Hi after owning a Turboknee System, a Systéme 3a and a Haas Velox and finding them all non practical(hope that is good american)... Actually really shitty all of them. Turbo is to loose, Systeme 3a is not adjustable on chin lenght, Haas is designed for very tall people. Looked also at SAKA same basic problem as the others has to be removed for work. Inspired by Dan Climbing Arborist I made 2 knee ascenders. First worked very well, but sling was to worn out; lasted 3 trees. Made a second and its even better. Design is basic, piece is compact, no bungees, no need to remove after ascent, clips in 1 place only...your rope. Dont know about you guys but not having to remove it for work is to me A SUPER PLUS POINT.
  11. So Husqvarna has this .325 mini chain. never seen it before. Also seems that from factory there is no 1/4 saw from them? Where do I get a 2 in 1 sharpener in europe? If I use the file in the pic 3/8 on a .325 mini chain what will be the resulte?? Great life I have where all this new things force me to learn more and more.
  12. this link is taking me somewhere else. would really like to see pic from drilled exhaust
  13. We try not to...but its difficult. Also I am a trainer and it keeps me very busy
  14. All we do is tree work. We are the only portuguese tree care co below Lisbon.
  15. @Old Mill Tree Care beware of all non protos stickers as they may chemically contaminate the shell
  16. somewhere here there is a picwith a conifer being climbed by a toy man with a chainsaw. Can you help me find it?

  21. @Paul Cleaver that is the 1 Update on south european oak. # Some strong winds came and prop n5 has moved, ripped a hole in the lower/side of branch visible on pic 1 # A climb was required...and what fun that was # Readjusted the prop pic 2 # Came down to center of this giant and found my reward👍 2 new sets of leaves, total of 9 of them in the inside/center of the tree pic 3 # This new leaves are facing south where the branch fell off, in here this type of tree, with this stress, the sun, the drought...gentlemen, I believe that this 9 leaves are the light at the end of the tunnel for this oak LONG LIVE THE OAK
