  1. I have a mate with one , superb firewood saw , he uses it all day every day and it goes like a train . TS
  2. I usually use the Oregon 8"or 10" plastic ones , but I got a big twisted aluminium one from Clark's a while back , it's at the yard just now but it was either Ochsekof or Bacho make . TS
  3. Sorry to hear your bad news , hope all goes better soon . TS
  4. Superb job mate , I've got one myself , but it's nothing like as smart as that . Great old saw the 266 , I love mine . TS
  5. Yip , I'm 30 days too , but they still come back 3 and 4 months later , sometimes longer expecting the same price . TS.
  6. Sorry , 15" bar . TS.
  7. This is what Joe public does all the time , asks for a quote , then keep you waiting . I give them a price then suggest a date telling them I'm super busy the next month or two after the suggested date , sometimes it works and they go with your date . I must say I've never chased them up on the phone , but plenty have got back to me months later expecting the same price . TS
  8. Looks like no lubrication for sure , have you tested it with another bar/chain , I had a fauly oregon bar a few years back that the oil holes on it were slightly out of line . TS .
  9. I use Pfanner stretch air and Sip freedom both C's . Hi flex only lasted me 6 months , not very tough against brambles and jaggy branches . TS
  10. Power Match bar and Stihl .325 chain , I like the speed . I want a Sugihara bar next . TS
  11. I run a stihl kombi KM130 with two extension poles 1 mtr and 0.5 mtr , it's done a lot of work without a problem . ( touch wood ). I've heard some bad reports , but as I said mine has been great . TS
  12. It's like the motor trade , cowboys getting good guys a bad name , the public only hears about the bad jobs ! TS
  13. Lucy Verasamy the weather girl , she's CLASS !! TS.
  14. The only place I've worked is Scotland , I love it from now till about June , then the midges come out , and when the rain starts it's wonderful , you can't beat wet trees for soaking you !! Last year was real wet . But that's life ! If I was younger I'd head for Canada or the States , dry with big trees I bet the money is better too . TS
  15. I use a Gomtaro and a Zubat , both straight , great saws that leave a nice tidy finish . TS
  16. Careful if you go for the jag , I did and the Doc managed to catch a nerve at the same time !! Trust me the tennis elbow was sore alright but nothing to the pain from the nerve , took a year to get better , every time I picked something up I was in agony . TS
  17. 395 for me mate , just think it's a better saw . TS
  18. That is one lovely tree mate . TS
  19. I've got a Dewalt XRP 18 volt , it's about 4 years old and is still as good as new ! I'm told the new ones are crap though , my joiner mate swears by Makita . TS
  20. I've had mine for years , great tough old saw , easy to get parts still too . Not that fast by todays standards , but I still like to air it from time to time . TS
  21. Oops forgot abot the 254xp and the 266xp , too many saws !!
  22. Tried a 13" bar on it and loved it . Never tried changing sprockets though . I still have a 262xp and thought that was Huskys best until I got the 560 , now I use it all the time . SUPERB SAW . TS
  23. Clarks will sort you out mate , superb service . TS
  24. I run a 560xp and a 361 , the 361 running a 20" bar , I use it for cross cutting . The 560 on a 15" bar , I use for snedding and small / medium timber and to me this is where a 560 comes alive , I love it , fast light and easy to handle and as far as i can see leaves the 361 for dead . No way I would run a bigger bar than 15" . Only my opion though !! TS
