  1. I’ve got a sprinter that’s on 277k miles and honestly compared to the one with 74k you can’t tell a difference. supermarket ones can’t get hammered as they are autos and restricted to 60 so can’t be thrashed too hard. id be more looking at drop lines, ball joints and the likes as they’ve probably be up and down kerbs harshly. sprinters are reliable and parts are cheap. Just make sure it has got a service record. I’ve got 3 sprinters and never give much bother.
  2. yes this is correct. They can’t tax the vat as it has in theory been paid just you’ve been able to reclaim some of your vat expense to take the burden of vat off you. just remember though that 20% only applies to adding on not taking off. Your 5000 with 20% off would be something like 833
  3. Fiesta van. Lovely drive and can fit a lot more than you think in the back of them. Plus they just sip diesel.
  4. We’ve just got recently the 562 mk2 it’s a completely different saw to its predecessor and is finally what a 560/562 should have been from the beginning
  5. Mitsubishi outlander. More reliable than a disco and returns really good mpg
  6. I’ve got 2 merc sprinters which have single rear wheels. Never give any bother and as every tree surgeon knows they are always over weight. As said they have a much larger tyre on them and give good traction. do wallow around but my transit does as well.
  7. So you’re basically wasting your money then. As quickbooks will record the vat for you. You’re already inputting the data into the system and quickbooks will work it all out automatically. It’s literally end of a vat quarter 2 clicks and it’s done. Hardly takes any more time and you’d save yourself a £100
  8. I had this issue with a forst in the end just traded it in for a diesel best decision ever. but with my forst I know this will sound crazy but if you blow into the fuel tank and then quickly put the cap back on it would start fine when hot. If you didn’t it would just keep turning over and never start.
  9. Easiest thing to do would bolt down everything on the stands and just have a qr code ticket to pick up and take to the counter. Almost like ikea. Would take slightly longer to process but then the staff they have watching for theft could be put to better uses
  10. What speed is the road? This will also make a difference.
  11. Will be the coil. I’ve got 2 550’s that are in all the time for new coils. according to the dealer husqvarna have changed the part number for the coil so hopefully they have fixed the issues. One saw I’ve had has gone through 3 coils in 9 months. amazing saws when working but getting tired of coil issues now.
  12. One thing to note is the 462 will be much better on fuel as the 500 does like a drink. I didn’t notice much difference in terms of power for the 462 and 500 but stihls pricing makes everyone get the 500 it seems.
  13. Husky balance xt is probably the best out there. had mine 5 years now used 3 days a week and not worn out yet.
  14. George Theodosiou is the man to have. Find him on Instagram and send him a message. You’ll never look back 👍🏻
  15. I have the self propelled version of this and it’s a really good bit of kit. Collects really well and is good on battery life. I only have a small garden with lots of steps and it’s ideal as it’s so light.
