  1. i've spoken to Halse, and they also come highly reconmended, would just like to check their price really.
  2. I am looking a getting a Hakki eagle to process the lengths split with lasco cone splitter. I have used an older model, and i am impressed with it. Two questions- anybody had a quote for one recently, ( and ideally what was it) Secondly anybody know of dealers for them in south (dorset ideally) thx rob
  3. i am just outside the purbecks in south dorset. i only sell a few cord to local ppl who like to chop their own logs. They collect the stacks in a crazy assortment of transportation. Presently i am all sold out of these stacks, but can take orders for this summer/autumn. Wood is usaully a mix of oak, silver birch and occasionally roddenedun (spelling) (just to plug- hardwood logs also sold, plus do sell artic loads of cordwood sometimes but nothing atm)
  4. I sell a cord of cord wood for £75. Hard wood, seasoned . A stack- 8ft long 4ft wide and 4ft high.. Meant to be about a ton of wood.
  5. Was wondering roughly what's the going rate for hiring and mini digger, (2.5 tons) Hourly, daily or weekly? No delivery cost Thanks Rob
  6. Also a good demonstration for a good work position.... Not...
  7. Might not be so nice if the wind blows in the opposite direction.
  8. I would like to know why they've done it. Never really looked at it, just cursed and carried on trying to get it to seal. Surely the production cost is greater than the tried and tested screw and thread tops that work on pretty much every liquid container on earth. A bit like re designing the wheel. Rob Just to edit- not sure what old tops were like, but guessing they like normal top/ caps
  9. Inch or so here in the purbecks, south Dorset. Something falling, snow/sludge
