65p -75p the norm. All depends on site.

Seems cheap at £28-32/m for 6ft close board. Not much left after you take off materials and other expenses.

£50 - £55 per metre. 4" posts set in concrete at 6ft spacings. 3 rails and upright slats with 1" gap

Most fc and private companies require you to have dye in mix so you are seen as doing the job properly. Nothing missed.

Funny how everyone's on about softwood. No one wanted it. It will be the main source of log burners within 3 years.

Rodeo all the way. Good towing capacity. Mechanical sound. 75k on the clock and only costs have been tyres and the odd service. Great workhorse.

Well said. Quality planting squads. Planting now for 8 years and all the public and private sector want is trees planted quickly and cheaply. Planter has to sort out the poor ground prep etc. I've seen alot of planting squads that seen to get more work than myself due to being cheaper sometimes, like high death rates so that they gain more work in future ie beat up, they can do no wrong. I take pride in my planting. Make sure the tree is planted correctly.
