    Husky 562xp

Non-euro market, D009 large husky mount, standard rim fitting, same as a 560xp really, but geared for American forestry Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  2. Why don't you just buy the Fairbanks starter parts and fit it to the housing? The pawl type starter won't last 5 minutes on an 090 with decent compression and correct timing advancement! And it's a damn site cheaper, works out at about £10-20 for all the parts. Anything you can't get in the uk, you'll have to get from Germany Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  3. What about the 051/076? They have brakes, as does the 08s, both of those run the D033 mount. Also, as those series of saws do not have to comply with PUWER, so unless stated otherwise, use is still allowed unless the site owner/contractor/insurance states otherwise Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  4. Is the 385 as tight a squish? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  5. America, that's the only place I have found sell wraps for 560/562/2260 Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  6. Thank you Barrie! I can put it to use now I know how it works Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  7. How do you work the round one, as I was given one Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  8. I use an old husky DET-302 Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  9. New piston on my 357xp, then changed the fuel lines and carb cleaned and kitted, replaced the impulse line on my 051, then punched myself in the face as the impulse line came free! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  10. Hedgecutter bearing and gear changes, fabrication of various parts, likewise I found quenching of ally quite ineffective compared to that of steel. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  11. Are you sure about the heat dissipation Barrie? I've always found ally retains heat much longer than steel Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  12. Not sure what you mean there, does the 390 not have dual transfers? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  13. Yeah, mine got lost when someone smashed open the back of my van Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  14. Found a few more! The 346 is the one I lost, loved that saw, it was awesome! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  15. I find them disappointingly indifferent, and whilst the 394 may have more power, it would only be in larger wood when it's dogged in for torque, but I prefer the 385 design, the brake handle, inboard clutch and it's lighter. My 385 is on a 36" bar, the 394 is on a 28" and has excellent compression, I reckon my 385 would still outcut the works 394 Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  16. It's a 560 with a wrap handle, it's also available to the 2260, which is the 560 equivalent Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  17. That is correct, the 385 superseded the 288! And fwiw I don't notice much power difference between the 385 and the 394! The power difference is actually minuscule! .1 kW really isn't a huge increase. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  18. Yeah, although I've sold the 200t, and I haven't got any pics of the 346 and 357 Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  19. 390, without a doubt, I'm using a 385 with a 36" bar fitted Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  20. Pull the cord out a little, grip the starter so it can't retract, push a bit of cord back into the starter area and wind the spring two turns tighter by using the cord to turn the wheel Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  21. Finally arbtalk is letting me upload pics! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

    Husky 236

I bought a 236 as my first saw, I used the saw for felling Corsican pine, with diameters over 30" and it took it all in its pace, but I would recommend the 135 as it's better built, easier to maintain and it has a proper air filter Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  23. The husky is better! I trained on stihl, worked with stihl, then I tried a husky, now I have more huskys! There's a reason everyone is switching to all orange Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  24. No, it does it itself for you, you can still mod them though Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  25. What you mean adjust new huskys? You do the work and it sorts itself out Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
