Yes, I was helping him with the details of the saw, so I could find out how to connect the choke, the problem is with mine is, I don't use the decomp as I have to hold it in, which means the starter pawls rip the ring to shreds, I used liquid gasket to up the compression, as I was trying to see what I could get out of the saw, needless to say that after 3-4 starts without a decompression, I will leave porting it for a while Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

New problem with my contra/090 project, it has destroyed the new starter ring, anyone else wishing to convert a contra, 1, don't up the compression with a liquid base, 2, always use the decompression button, 3, check the ring quite often! I have been told that decomp buttons save the starter, but on newer models (and much smaller) the engine isn't really a problem to pull over, obviously if its a massive stonking engine and a metal-on-metal friction design, this is very important Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
