  14. Quickstop, originally saws were fitted with point breakers and condensers, I have the misfortune of having 2 of these! When switched off they can still run on for a few seconds if they have been run for longer periods as they have charge stored in capacitors. The quickstop is our modern coils, where the coil produces enough power to spark immediately, and is also earthed immediately, so it stopped quick. I actually need to get my nan to show me how points work... Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  23. I want you to picture this in your head mate: you get said chinstrap for your lid, you then climb wearing this in a tree. You're about half way through the canopy and take a limb off with your saw. It's one of those circumstances where it's easier to drop it down the centre of the tree, but as you do, the end of the branch brushes past you. As it does, a twig catches in your peltor ear defender, and gives your hat a tug, pulling it off your head, but it's ok, your chinstrap will stop it from being taken, unfortunately because its elasticated it's now returning at a higher speed and smacks you one. Bet you'd feel a right prat if that happened?! Point made, buy a proper helmet for climbing, Oregon did a cheap one Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  24. Pliers slipped at one point but were luckily stopped by the nice squashy bits of my hand, and I couldn't use a vice, as I'm still waiting for the central bit of the clutch to arrive in uk, all in all, this is the result Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  25. Stihl brake springs are easy, but I don't need to worry bout that on an 090 Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
