  1. Check out the AA website, they have details on there.
  2. Mine has the validation time period clearly stated, statement saying "by accepting this quotation, you are agreeing to the t&cs, and then "for full t&c go to website address." Gives people the option to look at them, without seeing a huge list of t&c below the quote, but also makes them aware that there are t&cs.
  3. Get yourself an account on the planning portal, it saves your details so speeds up the process of a paper copy. Plus you can do one if you get a spare 5 mins, online. There is a response time, between submitting the notice and receiving acknowledgment from the lpa but usually get one within a day. Keeps a good trail of everything, all accessible from your phone so no need for letters and print outs.

This does set really well, would of liked to get another wrap on but cut the cord too short. Any issues with less wraps or is there a minimum there should be ?

Is there a minimum of wraps on a VT?
  6. Good to hear, looks like they have the lot, thanks 👍
  7. Can anyone recommend a good online shop for service parts and replacement for stihl saws and hedge cutters? Would like to have somewhere that I can get everything in one order.
  8. Any ideas on this... nearest I could find was Diospyros nigra. Probably way off and missing something more obvious
  9. Does anyone know if any permission or permit is required to stand a hook lift bin in a field for gradually filling? Looking at options for green waste disposal to save on long trips to my nearest disposal site.
  10. On mine there is a manual release on the front by the lead connections, can't remember exactly, could be on then hydraulic fluid tank. Looks like a screw, make sure this is fully tight. Worth a look.
  11. It was a general question asking for anyone's input if they wanted to. I know it is a personal subject, but for me it was more of a hypothetical question.
  12. I know it's a question most people wouldn't want to answer as it's a personal subject but does anyone keep a stump grinder in a panel van overnight on a regular basis? If so, is it insured?
  13. Hi Paul, So the storage of timber in a field is ok? Even though it has be brought in as Arb arisings? No specific Licence/consent is needed?
  14. Hi I'm hoping for a bit of advice on two subjects. I'm looking to register for an exemption licence to enable me to burn the odd bit of green waste on site from where it was produced. I have had a look on the gov website and it mentions about listing the places where the burning may take place. As I don't do this much, most of my waste is chipped, how can you give a specific place? What experiences have people had with this exemption? Anything I should be aware of or need to do? Is it just as simple as filling out the register form and away you go?? Question 2 is about the storing of chip and timber on a site. How easy is it to register a site for chip storage. This is either sold as mulch once it has broken down or it is spread around the trees within the field it is stored in. How easy is this to get sorted? Are there conditions that need to be met? Or can chip be plied up in a filed, providing it is under the mentioned tonnage, and left until used? In relation to timber storage, this is for storing arb timber which is then processed into logs and sold at a later date. Does this need to be registered? And if so, what are the requirements and conditions that need to be enforced? Anyone with experience in either of the subjects with some pointers for me would be appreciated.
  15. Do you know what the actual issue was? I has been plugged into a diagnostic program but every time it comes back with no faults. It's been re set back to factory which seems to do it for a little while.
  16. Hi, I've got a 2010 ford transit that has recently been playing up. The turbo began cutting out loosing most of its power. This is intermittent tho as it sometimes drives normally. It's been looked at a couple of times by my mechanic but when it's run for tests it all comes back as working fine. It's recently come back and has been running well, apart from the engine stalling when coming to a stop on occasion. It will be going back in but just thought I'd check here to see if anyone has had a similar problem, and resolved the issue. There is talk of the fuel pump on its way out. Seems to me to be more of an electrical problem maybe, but I have no mechanical knowledge. Any similar issues would be good to hear about. Cheers
  17. As above looking for a chip tip in or close to Bourton on the water for tomorrow. 1 maybe 2 loads
  18. Local roads. I may have the option of borrowing a plant trailer, just wandering on other peoples options. I have had a small 1.5ton digger on the tt85, but as you say was very top heavy. I didn't have to drive more that half a mile, but that was enough.
  19. Is it possible to carry a tracked chipper, ether 150 or 190 tw on an ifor tt85? I know the weight limit is ok, my concern was with the trailer being top heavy? Anyone with experienced of this?
  20. Looking for anyone available in the Cheltenham area for subbie work must be capable of hedge cutting and ground work. Cs30 an advantage Pm me for details
  21. Hi all, Just wandering if there may be an obvious solution. I have a ford transit 10 plate. The turbo seems to be non existent in the lower gears mainly 1st when pulling away. It does sometime run normally through all the gears but, when it does go, you pretty much loose all the pulling power. My question is, should I be looking for anything obvious that may have come loose or is it likely to be a bigger problem? Thanks
  22. Hi, Could anyone make any suggestions as to what may have caused this to dieback fairly suddenly? I had a look for rhizomorphs but was unable to see any only mycelium. Is it possible that it could still be Armillaria? There is also a lot of stem cracks on the side of the shrub with dieback. I'm assuming this is stress related, lack of water uptake.
  23. Thanks, think I've sorted something
