  1. Sorry forgot to mention - yes it’s petrol
  2. Looks like what was used to seal the tank. It’s a Timberwolf 125 - similar tank setup as Bobs. Will look into making a gasket to fit.
  3. What would people recommend for sealing around the top of a chipper fuel tank? The seal has become perished and it’s been re done previously at the service shop but as it’s an ongoing issue I will keep up with it myself. It looks like a silicone has been used before as opposed to an actual gasket. Wandered if there was something more resistant to fuel. Cheers
  4. Thanks Steve, will give them a call. is that map accessible on Arbtalk or is it your personal system?
  5. Looking for a chip dump 1-2 loads and 1 load of Timber, anyone able to take it?
  6. CUPRESSUS MACROCARPA GOLDCREST
  7. So, if the client arranged for the shutdown it would be foc? This is strange as I’ve not had this before, and it’s the same provider. Had a shutdown just before Christmas with them and dealt with them as the contractor, no problems and foc. As for the utility tree team, I’ve not had a good experience with them in the past, with too many supervisors changing roles, jobs being either forgotten, rescheduled or cancelled the morning of the job. - one job had set backs over 5 times and took 2 years to actually get done. - doesn’t make me look good to my client.
  8. Just wandering if anyone has any experience of being charged for a shutdown before? I have put in a request to have a temporary shutdown for a lv pole with abc on. They have sent me a questionnaire to fill out so that they can send me over a quote for the costs. As of all of my previous shutdowns, shrouding - there has never been any mention of a charge. It’s always been carried out and arranged to suit both parties foc. I asked the operator if this was a new charge and they said it’s always been the case?? Surely if the lines are within my clients land, and the tree is too close to safely carry out a removal (the pole is in fact running up the middle of the tree) they should comply without any charges? Any advice on this matter will be much appreciated.
  9. Bit of a long shot, but is anyone able to take or make use of a few van loads of decayed horse chestnut. Good for eco piles. It’s past the point of having any Timber value. Or if anyone knows of someone who may be able to take it locally. Happy to pay per tip. Would be looking at dropping it off tomorrow
  10. I'm looking for a chip drop in Tewkesbury this Tuesday and Wednesday if anyone can help. The job is close to Tewkesbury school. Thanks in advance
  11. Also, looking for someone to help out Monday 9th October - message me with experience and rates
  12. Looking for a self employed climber available in the Cheltenham area for ad hoc work. Please message me with experience and rates. Also, any groundies please also message me with details and rates.
  13. Yep, found that one out and ordered through Ebay. Should have them tomorrow
  14. Anyone got a chain brake handle for a 200t they can part with?
  15. https://www.theramppeople.co.uk/folding-loading-ramps-trp612o-xl-pair-2750mm-long-285mm-wide
  16. Are your ramps the 2750mm length?
  17. Nice one thanks guys, had a little look at the ramp people, will get an order in.
  18. im looking for some advice on loading ramps for a transit tipper. ideally they would be able to fold to save space. there are a few available online but unsure if they would be suitable given the height of the tipper bed. ive been using some heavy duty fixed steel ifor ramps from my TT85, but take up alot of space and are a pain to load and unload, i also need to have the bed slightly tipped to allow for deck clearance on the mower. the ramps will be used to load stump grinder and ride on mower so need to be able to take 400-500kg. any help would be appreciated
  19. Can't put my finger on this one. Real common. can't seem to get hypericum out of my head.
  20. Looking to add some more subbies to my list of contacts for the summer. Work based in Cheltenham and own transport is necessary to meet on site. Work would be ground work, brash dragging and assisting tree surgery operations as well as hedge cutting and grounds maintenance. Chainsaw ticket would be an advantage but not a must. Would suit someone looking to get some experience in this line of work.
  21. Hi, Does anyone have a tailored risk assessment template for young persons work experience? Just looking to save me some time, before I make my own? Cheers
  22. In all fairness, I used to do that. I would take me hours in the evening to write quotes out. This app made it easy to do on the go, and really made everything quick and simple, with less time needed to sit down at a computer every evening. What other cloud based apps are there? I'd want it to be similar so I am able to create quotes and invoices from the same place.
  23. That's one of the many issues I'm having, I don't want my bank details on a quote. Plus the templates are worse than the older ones and makes your quotes look like something a 5 year old could make. Very disappointed. It's cause a lot of disruption
