    Tpo area

Thanks all for the replies and details I should be looking at. I will contact the TO first to see If they have any more specifics on this matter. Cheers
  2. If an area is covered by a tpo does each tree have to be listed on the docs? I have been asked to remove a well trimmed copper beech which falls within this area. On the docs there are species stated but not beech. The tpo was made in 1977 and I've been told if I am able to prove the tree was planted after this time it is not covered. What is the most accurate way to determine the age of a tree without any records? Thanks for any help.

Hi all, Struggling to id this without books. I'm pretty sure I know the name but can't think of it. I seem to remember it starts with a 'p' , may well be way off. Cheers

  11. Hi, Have been given an old husqvarna 50 that was apparently not working. After a bit of a clean, it seems to work fine. I have however managed to break the starter cover. Does anyone have a spare one that they no longer need? Thanks Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

    Fungi id

I was sent this pic by a customer and didn't actually see the fruiting fungus but was able to see the remains. Not entirely sure, but was thinking A.Tabescens?? On the remains there wasn't a ring on the stem.
  17. Hi all, Have just bought a pinto 14mm to run with a pulley saver. My prussik cord goes through the pinto with the spacer to stop any pinching. With the spacer my 12mm rope is fairly tight through the pulley. If I were to coat the prussik with some shrink tube would this be ok to stop any pinching? Or should I just leave the spacer in with the small amount of friction on the spacer? Cheers
  18. It's all growing from the same tree
  19. Sorry 20ft reach not 20m
  20. Sorry I'm in Gloucestershire. I would get away with a 20m reach, I'm assuming smaller reach means smaller machine in terms of turning length??? The narrowest part is a 3ft gateway and then there is an immediate path way about 3-4ft wide but has a low wall either side about 1-2ft high.
  21. Hi, Does anyone know if you can get a tracked mewp that would fit through a 3ft gateway? And if so where hires then? Cheers
  22. Thanks for the replies, I will give the scratch and sniff approach a go!
