The store manager shouts at the tramp what the heck are you doing get out of my shop! The tramp replies, you gotta sign outside saying "pick your ring in comfort", thought i would do just that! Jokes???

Tramp walks into a pub and asks the landlord hiya mate, can i borrow a fork? Landlord a little confused but says ok but youre not staying in the pub! No probs says the tramp, just want a fork and off he goes. 5 minutes later another another tramp walks in and says hello landlord, can i borrow a fork? Yes ok but youre not staying here right? Nope, just want a spoon and the tramp leaves. Another five minutes and another tramp walks in! The landlord says to the tramp, let me guess, you want a fork right? Errr, no a straw actually says the tramp. The landlord pretty confused by now says to the tramp, ive just had 2 of youre mates in here asking for a fork and now you come in wanting a straw....wtf is going on??? Ahhh! Says the tramp, someone has thrown up outside, and the other 2 got the best bits! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  8. Check the old number isnt replaced by the new one or else you will end up with 3 fuel pipes you cant lose!! I tried to post the pic from the parts list but cant do it on ipad but clearly shows the moulded grommet. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  9. Pt no is 501814601. No idea if its still available, check with your dealer Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  10. The early 281 had a moulded grommet, the later ones have a plain pipe. They are not interchangeable and you cant get a grommet to fit, you need to order the earlier style fuel pipe. I will have a look to see if i can find the pt no. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  16. Rock climbing rope is more elastic and is intended to arrest a fall. Arb rope is intended for use for access and to arrest falls also but is much less stretchy and is called semi static. Ropes for raising and lowering are static and have no give in them at all. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  21. Mines got 110k on it, 3 yrs old and is just about run in lol Thankfully im getting the d-max soon (month or so) I do long motorway journeys and the seats i find uncomfortable with no lumbar adjustment to speak of ( there is a lever but does bugger all) The steering wheel adjustment is also just about as useful, has 2 settings up is too high and low is as you can probably guess..too low. The stereo is utter pants (the clarion model) it has only one saving grace it has an ipod connection so even though i get a really shitty fm signal i can at least play my own tunes. The rear cab is pants but to be fair that is an aftermarket thing (an aerodeck), i can get into the back quicker without a key than with it. The rear window of the truck has a split rear screen but the aerodeck doesnt so long stuff cant poke through the window. The paint has come off the rails on top despite never been used. The seats are a bugger to clean. Turning circle is pretty useless but i guess thats thanks to 4wd and long wheel base and applies to any vehicle of this type. The gearbox is a bit iffy. 3rd gear on mine is and always has been a real bitch. Selecting 4wd can take a while (high or low range) and even longer to go back to 2wd. The fuel filter supposedly only needs to be changed when the light on the dash comes on but so far it has had to be changed at every 12k service. ( when you test drive, see if a yellow light pops up intermittently on the dash display). Engine has been fine, although quite thirsty once over 60mph. Drive sensibly and you should get high 20s mpg It used to eat fuses... Im pretty sure it was to a badly fitted towbar electrics from OEM. A bit of a handful on greasy roundabouts... Had a couple of tankslappers in mine and needed to stop and buy new undercrackers! Some of the above may just be issues to my model/ my own vehicle but check it thoroughly and dont forget that all important service history!! One aggravating bug bear is ignition key... It sits proud and is a light touch...put em in your pocket and its a lucky dip if your vehicle is locked or unlocked as you walk away Any questions or worries ask away. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  22. With cat like reactions i managed to pause the vid at the right moment lol and is using "turbo" mode for the stem but eco for the limbs. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  23. Which air filter is fitted, a black frame or yellow frame? (Black is more open mesh than the yellow... 0.080mm / 0.044mm) As for the idling problem, probably not related to muck in the induction tube...sounds like a fault pure a simple and a warranty job. The a/t should stabilise the idle. Check what the gap is between the flywheel magnets, between .2 and .3mm is correct depending on manufacture date of the saw. Check with your dealer for warranty!!
