1. I'm so so sorry for your loss. I cannot imagine what you have gone through. We are all here on the forum for you and your family.
2. At a school football match I got passed the goalie and just had to tap the ball in with the side of my foot. Me, I stood on the ball flipped sideways and broke my collarbone on the goal post as I hit it. Ball did not move stayed right where it was. As I lay on the floor feeling sick with pain my team proceeded to kick the living daylights out of me for missing a sitter! They only stopped when I threw up!
3. Just spend a bit of time connecting it up. 96% of the UK use Google to find things It's all free This for getting your site fully indexed by google Webmasters ? Google This for stats https://www.google.com/analytics/ (In the settings you can link these together so you get more info on your visitors) And this for the Local Listing! https://www.google.co.uk/business/ It's worth an evening doing the above if your first page of Google for tree surgeon "your town" If your top or in at least the top 3 You're quids in.! I've mates that are painter and decorators / builder who all have been conned by the printed directories saying the trades are all found using old school media when it's just not the case anymore. Even my Gran has an iphone and see use it to find trades. It's so easy now. Top tip If the above fills you with dread it's a quick job for a developer to sort you should not pay more than an hour at the maximum most and MAKE SURE it's in your account not theirs.
4. We get shed loads from ours selling sawhorses. We have started selling to the US, France and Norway thanks to the site and I'm sorting out Aus and New Zealand at the moment. As hamdogg says you need to be on page one for it to do anything. If it's local clients your after get a site but make sure you have google analytics and a google local business page ( the links with maps you see in the search). if you do not have a site get a google business page it's free and it'll get in the rankings for local searches!
5. Ha ha yes me too! hero to zero and back again with every tree! I found a gif for people who do not use facebook!
6. Sorry This is the link to the film you need facebok to see it!

14. Make sure you site is connected to Google local business and Google plus. For full belt and braces, get yourself a google webmastertools account and add a sitemap! also put in google analytics. If this sounds like gobbldy gook get the developer to do this ( should be no more than an hour tops) BUT make sure it's done in your name and you are the admin!
15. Your right and I should not have run down the competition was just amazed at lack of safety!
16. We all work with saws they need respect. Looking at our videos today, I spied a competitors sawhorse. Well I thought it was until I watched with horror as the trainer wearing loon cut logs using the Brake as a handle! The quickfire, demo'd by the soon to be dead owner! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i9MH1SimTBM :thumbdown:
17. Apart from coming out of the dark ages the internet has been around for years! They now have total internet control of the products. I guess the dealers will have to pay for this ecommerce system they provide so they will win both ways it's a model a few companies use. Provide ecommerce system for dealers that they pay for and also control the price. Simples Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
18. If you have sent them a quote they must also be interested in you working for them. A phone call after you sent it is really necessary even if you do not get the job. People want to work with people they trust. If you're the one not chasing the quote, you miss out to the guy who has phoned and discussed his quote and any thing the client is not happy with or not sure about. He makes them happy and closes deal. If you do lose out at least you'll know why ( more ammo for next time not to lose)
19. It is a bit geeky but if you put email server address here it will tell you if your email is blacklisted. just put in your email but without name@ Email Blacklist Check - See if your server is blacklisted
20. There is slow mo somewhere on line I'll see if I can find it. I spoke to the inventor in Finland and he is selling the company. It retails for about £170 here
21. Like the way he is holding the front end with his hand!
22.

Hi A just a quick message, I see you have started selling Echo chainsaws. I wondered if you'd be interested in out sawhorses?

All the best

23. You...... I thought it was your video and you were making these by hand! It's crazy madness to go through the hours and hours of hand made craftsmanship to then just to go flipping use a chainsaw! Why not just use power tools from the start!!
