  2. Hi mate it was this post that originally swayed me to a lux i will drop oil and filter every 5 thousand, its not a big job and oil is a lot cheaper that steel!!!

  15. i was using silver streak , and boa, and just recently used viper, today was first day and i loved it, slid well, held well,

I'm currently on £100 for 1.5 cubic metre load, Or £66.66 a cube, all split, consistent length, hardwood, think that's a bit cheap, but any over a £100 and people seem to laugh, but they don't grumble bout the £1000.00 oil bill a year, I wish I could take these people logging,/splitting for a day !!!

  20. yes mate on bigger stems I can use either tape sling or a 5m split tail and prusik
  21. don't know, never tried , I normally just climb to top anchor then install it, then wizz back down on the pulley
