  3. sounds sweet mate any pics?
  4. haha, if I had one I would try it, it was just a laugh really, but it actually worked very well:thumbup1:
  5. A little vid taken today in the woods. Having a bit of fun experimenting with the baby chipper I have. Its a 22hp vtwin briggs engine, 2007 webber bbf chipper hs 125 I believe. We are on a woodland management job atm, and the brash is being chipped. Chips were averaging 7m, but some flew up to about 8/10 metres. A bit of fun and stops her from blocking up. God bless the bg 86 blower:thumbup: (hope this works its my first vid upload from youtube) Josh.
  6. that's your opinion
  7. I don't see that fair. I like to take pride in my work and pride in my equipment, I like to maintain my gear to a high standard therefore I need a good parts backup and being in the "sticks" is hard for me to get to town to get parts. This is why I take it personally. Sorry if I have upset anyone but like I said I like to look after my gear. Josh
  8. I haven't emailed stihl however according to radmore and tucker our main stihl dealer its nonsence, well was this morning anyway. Hope this helps, Oh when I was on the phone to him I got him to do a list of spares to, Josh,
  9. hi, Well 8.30 this morning they hadn't herd of any changes, the parts chap was so suprised by my call he went to ask the boss and he/she to had not herd of any changes
  10. Quick call to radmores and they are happy to post spares:thumbup: They have just gone up in my estimations, They had herd of no change in there online sales parts policy watsoever and are still happy to post parts for £3.50 postage, So im well happy, keep the stihl kut running now:001_tt2:
  11. yes me included not happy
  12. trying to prove to stihl how silly itbis comes to mind for me.. Seriously how am I supposed to get spare parts, I can't speak for everyone but im a good 45 mins away from radmores, and they shut early. Without mking a special 40 mile round trip in how am I ment to maintain the kit.?? I'm not being funny or trying to piss anyone off just trying to make a valid point. For me ALL my kit from karabiner to 660 was bought over internet and this will soon be stopped im sorry for being annoyed but I think I have a fair point. Josh..

  14. with second thoughts will keep the kit untill it goes bang and then replace, Will loose big time on depreciation so will use that money on spare parts instead.
  15. it worth bugger all if I need parts and don't have time to get them?
  16. how may I ask? By the time I finish the nearest main dealer will be shut. So how can i possibly maintain and keep my equiptment running?
  17. Hi all , All my kits for sale if anyones interested. May suit someone within a stones throw of stihl main dealer. Ms 660. ms 362 ms201t Bg86 c Hs 56 And any other stihl kit I can find. What's the point in running stihl kit I will no longer be able to maintain .i don't have time to keep running into Exeter for new parts. Due to stihls new policy about stopping online sales I thinknits time to move brands. I have a husk main dealer 5mins away. if anyone is interested please pm me.
  18. coulnt agree more especially as I've just bought a 362. As had loads of grief from 560xp, and husk dealer 5mins away
  19. Yh not very pleased, myself mate, wat ever will happen next. They will be sending out a rep to refill your saw, sharpen your chain .. And probably wipe you a##se
  20. fair comment but its just causing delays
  21. Seriously, if this is TRUE have stihl thought about the possible consequences?? I run all stihl gear... Have they thought about the safety issues this may cause??? What if ur in the woods/cover/on site and something simple such as a brake band goes pop.. normally I would be on the phone to fr Jones and it would get POSTED Now what is ment to happen im 45 mins from.local dealer, 34 mile round trip. Plus not mentioning the fact by the time you get there they may be closed. .. So now are we ment to put the saw down and not use it for a week or two untill we have chance to go in and get a part.... Its totally RIDICULOUS Who will be paying for that down time. I can't speak for everyone but im not happy. Think it could cause Health and safety problems:sneaky2: Josh.
  22. As above, I run 3 stihl saws, all bought online, stihl blowers, stihl hedge cutters.. Has never harmed before. Stink 2stroke oil, fuel pipe, clutch kits, sprokets, filters spares etc Its ideal over internet because as been said before if it breaks during the day a quick phone all or internet on your phone and part is there next day to keep on working. I really don't see the need to cancel online sales, is everyone is certified and can prove it to use a chainsaw be it climbing saw or not we should not be penalised.there again my local dealer radmores are . .poo. The messed up my probs with my 261, and try to sell you rubbish you don't need, not forgetting the fact the one day I did need some spares I phoned and they never replied... Internet is the early forward , it allows the workman to get a decent product at decent prices Who will be paying for my34 mile round trip into Exeter and back??.. Will make for expensive brake and etc.. Please don't be so stupid Josh Mid devon
  23. Well just has new email , looks like a 7 day week next week, 3days subbing. 2day job. Then 2 day job. Gunna be a busy week. Best go and service sharpen all gear.
  24. :thumbup:sumerzet scrumpy
