  2. yh no probs i can run mx oil quite easily , just trying to save mixing up to diff kinds of 2mix
  3. Hi all, Looking at a ktm 125 sx, 2006, Just wondering if anyone on here has a motor cross bike and if you run stihl hp oil, its a fully synthetic oil with good lubricating properties, If not will just get sum fully synthetic proper MX oil, When I had my old bike I used Fuchs MX oil, and that worked in saws so just wondering wether it would work the other way round. Then I can run all my kit and bike on 50.1 stihl hp super Cheers
  4. im running 16" full chiz and love it atm, hasn't stalled yet
  5. couldn't find a tidy one
  6. Been using the 362 hard the last few days and ........ .. .. .. it hasn't stalled once , Hot starts ok, cold starts ok, Idles perfectly, keeps less fine dust out of carb, and is pretty good on juice, Could be onto a winner here its reasonably grunty too now its had say 6/7 litres through it, and rips on the 3/8 full chiz chain Josh
  7. in responds to veg oil, I converted to it say 8/10 ish months ago... Never had a prob with oil pumps, bars burning/blueing, chains have been wearing ok, and I can lick up the spills, oh and its £1 a litre chain oils are £2/3 a litre, I have no probs using it, from climbing saw up to 30" on 660, Also its easy to clean maintain saws when using beg oil as its so clean Josh.
  8. I made a retrieveable pulley saver I think the thread was my diy pulley saver, So im using that and prussiks, seems good to me,
  9. whys that mate ? Think it bout £30 5l, Josh
  10. If my 560 was good I would have have kept it mate
  11. Yes apart from 35quid for bar and chain
  12. Yh hopefully it will last longer
  13. Just tried out my new Ms 362, Stripped it down and greased needle bearing before work commences, Wow its a beefy bearing compared to 261 bearing, So fields up, started sweet, put a rmtank through her, and guess what .... ... ... it didn't stall once , no fancy electronic this electronic that, Just back to basic carb n ask screws , So it runs, Not as fast as the 560xp, but with the 3/8 chain I would say its nearly on par cutting wise, feels well balaced, looks clean and easy to maintain , airfilter is doubled up which I like, so will be able to say more in time but first impressions are good, And it idles, and had to be started once, not once every 4mins like my 560, So it may not be as quick but fingers crossed it looks easier to maintain and will hopefully be more reliable Josh..
  14. waste oil can't be good for saw or us, personally I like beg oil as its cheap, enviro friendly, and ok to breathe in
  15. totally agree my 201t 0r 660 wud tick over all day, As for 560, yh its crap, Funny part is the dealer thinks its stihls fault as the carb/electronic modules are made by a company stihl own, Passing the buck I would say, anyhow, I shall be getting a 362 tomorrow, 261 was pants and I can't find a 346 /357 so back to trusty old stihl for me sorry husky, Guess its the hare vs the tortoise, Tortoises. - stihl, slow but reliable, Hare - husky fast but not for long:thumbdown:
  16. yes it has been removed, Same scenario today but only it kept stalling,
  17. nice and healthy
  18. he showed me as he plugged it in, Will be purchasing a 362 tommorow. From radmore and tuckers before they go all electronic
  19. as was described in manual
  20. hi mate, It varies, mainly when up to temp, after its idled for anymore than 1min it just stalls, hence the 268 starts in 19 hours:lol:, No under load it was ok,
  21. ok, I've got no 4 mix engines, but is stihl hp really the best ?
  22. ****, I've just taken it back again,, He's put in on computer, its done 19 hours and has been started 268 times That's starting it every 4 minutes as it keeps stalling Utter shite sorry
  23. I can't find a 346 XP anywhere, Yes petes 240, is running better than my 560 and its 2002
  24. Its back, started using it and still keeps stalling, .thats it. Hopefully getting refunded, as its really starting to cost me money now, Which can I possibly replace it with, Ms 241? Josh
