  1. Galloway for Batley & Spean? I’d go for a pint with Galloway - reckon it’d be an interesting night. Starmer coup Friday?
  2. 74% of London children held in prisons awaiting trial are black, LBC investigation finds WWW.GOOGLE.CO.UK As many as three-quarters of children from London held on remand in prison are black, LBC can reveal. A fault / reflection of “institutional racism” or a reflection of who is committing crime?
  3. Just put £40 🦑 in an envelope an send it to me - £s, $s, sheckles, dibdobs, Bitcoin all accepted ✅
  4. Actually, you do get something for your £40 - whether you know about it, want it or think you should pay for it is quite a different issue. The ICO (a government QUANGO) seeks to establish and maintain a ‘register’ of all CCTV systems and data controllers nationwide. After an ‘incident’ has occurred, or as part of movement tracking, certain agencies can save a lot of time and footwork if they can access a list of the location of CCTV systems, system spec, data controller details maybe even IP address. There is a ‘product’ from the requirement to register, a very valuable and useful product, it’s just that it ain’t much use to the poor schmuck that is paying his 40 squids for it. They’ve ‘dressed it up’ as a ‘protection of personal data’ issue but that’s only the sugar coating on the pill of reality.
  5. Can we still have a dig at Mat Hancock? I've got a beauty here that Mark will like! Copy is a bit ropey as I had to screen record it from Facebook....
  6. He’s gotta go but his boss likes a bit on the side so it’s a bit tricky. More seriously, the Russians, the Chinese even the Israelis and the septic tanks must be rubbing their hands in glee. A government that is susceptible to the pussy trap is wide open for coercive manipulation.
  7. I was never serious when I said on ya digga! MO - everyday of the week! Apart from Mick’s French “issues”, you simply will not find better support than MO UK. I’m 5 years or so in with my original MO. Only ever had really minor issues and even then quickly diagnosed and solutions identified by Steve on a video call. It simply doesn’t get any better than that! Plastic panels might be an issue for hire fleet or careless users. Owner operators treat their gear very differently - mishaps will happen, I caught a tow hitch and cracked a panel. No biggy. Lift stats - again, as an owner operator, don’t mistreat your kit. Estimate your likely lift ‘need’ and over spec so that you’re never pushing the limits. I looked long and hard at many options and MO was the best choice for my needs. Seriously, no regrets in hindsight!
  8. Looks like he found his own bus(t) and enthusiastically climbed aboard with a season ticket! How the info got into public domain is the key to this.... A workplace shuffty with a young hotly.... Im trying to work out if I like him more or less? Feel sorry for his Mrs.
  9. Have you seen pic of Hancock snogging his aid Mark? Havent got a pic yet but it’s gonna be a tricky one for each of them to explain to their relevant partners - what happened to social distance? I think the only ‘bubble’ he had in mind was NOT a family one 😂
  10. That! Was a pleasure to watch 😂
  11. Bit extreme maybe - I mean like, who ‘likes’ tax, but topping yourself is a bit OTT!
  12. Never let the truth get in the way of a good dit! Exageration and deviation from the topic are the lifeblood of the forum 😂
  13. Les, for the love of God, leave him well alone! He can hit a ****************ing strawberry at 30 paces with a throwing knife! Put the keyboard down and back away slowly without making too much eye contact and definitely no sudden movements!
  14. Yeah, “a border patrol boat fired shots” at a T45. Granted, it’d just be the opening gambit, but talk about David & Goliath 😂 A worrying, thankfully rare, glimpse of the transition from covert, but state sponsored, cyber, economic and espionage hostilities to the potential for a rising tempo towards kinetic warfare. Wouldn’t have happened on Trumps watch. Since we’re left with Biden, we’ve had hot war in Israel/Palestine and now this... Maybe it’s ‘just’ coincidence? Wouldn't want to be on op Orbital right now. Hundreds of UK troops parachute into Ukraine for joint exercises - GOV.UK WWW.GOV.UK Over 200 British paratroopers made history this week when they jumped into southern Ukraine for the first time.
  15. We don’t know what OP defines as a ‘large job.’ Is it a big tree in a domestic setting or a site clearance with project management oversight. If it’s a site with PM oversight it might be possible to pass it up the chain. Maybe not so likely if it’s a domestic job. Whilst we all have our own moral compass viz a viz nesting birds - and, thankfully, most seem to set a pretty high bar, I’m not so sure I’d be carrying my ass in a sling at the prospect of ‘prosecution.’ Im sure it’s been said before - has there ever been an arb related prosecution for bird transgressions (maybe Mr Bolam after a few cases of Stella but that’s a whole other story.) It’s not an offence unless intentional and it’s not that difficult to be diligent.
  16. If you can charge it out to the customer I’d agree with Ian’s comment above. If it’s a ‘large job’ as you say, like a site clearance as part of a larger project, it may be that there is a project manager. If so, pass the problem back to them - that’s what they get paid for. Anyone can do a bird survey, you just need to be able to demonstrate an appropriate / defensible level of diligence and competence. If you didn’t quote for it either charge it out or charge it as a contract amendment.
  17. Hang on, hang on! We’re missing the point here... I would like to see the knives! Even better, a short vid of the throwing! That’s some impressive distance esp if on target 🎯
  18. I’m over 100kg, north of 6’ and the other side of 50. Ease up on the suet puddings, aim for 100kg and avoid Ash trees!
  19. How’s he gonna throw that? And, it’ll never stick in even if he hits the tree
  20. Bercow joins Labour.... ANOTHER nail in Labour’s coffin! Former Speaker and Conservative MP John Bercow joins Labour WWW.GOOGLE.CO.UK He says he shares Labour's values and that the government "needs to be replaced". Nasty little oick....
  21. There may be exception to the rule Mr B! A certain “IanC” gets a mench in the comments and replies of the attached link: mudcat.org: woman a dog and a walnut tree MUDCAT.ORG the more you beat them the better they be. as regards walnut trees i understand its the end of the branches that are...
  22. A certain elegance in your brevity Mr S 👍🏻😂
